Summary: WOW! Judith McNaught does it again, and again and again....
Review: "Paradise" is Judith McNaught at her best. It's a wonderful contemporary story of how true love conquers all. At the age of 18, young socialite Meredeth Bancroft is trying to step into her father's world of a large family owned department store in Chicago. Meredith tries her best to win the approval of her chauvenistic father. Meanwhile, she meets her destiny, (though doesn't know it), at one of her socialite functions. Matt Farrell is a man destined to be "somebody". He's a poor mechanic from the other side of the tracks that catches Meredith's eye and facination. Within four days they are married, then, with a father that steps in to change his daughter's future, their lives are turned upside down and with misunderstandings, they soon divorce...at least they think they are.

See how, 11 years later, with a twist of fate, they come face to face again. Matt, now a business tycoon comes back to Chicago. Yes, they are destined to be together, but it's not quite that easy when pride, jealousy, betrayal and long hurtful feelings are in the way. There is no one like Judith McNaught to make you laugh out loud and quiety cry, as you will do so, in "Paradise".

Judith McNaught has a wonderful way of adding characters from one book to her next, you will find Meredith and Matt in cameo situations again in "Perfect".

Summary: Still the best after re-reading it so many times
Review:
I've read the book some 2 years ago and I thought then it's the best. I re-read it yesterday and, again, I couldn't stop: couldn't stop being drawn to the entangled love between Meredith and Matt; couldn't stop the heartache for their separation; couldn't stop crying for the time when they were "misled" by Meredith's father ...

I still think it's the best contemporary romance I've ever read after these years - no other book can compare with "Paradise"

(maybe "Perfect" by Judith McNaught...)

Summary: The Queen of Her Genre
Review: PARADISE, Judith McNaught's best published book yet, is fast paced and full of page-turning events. The action never stops and the romance between Matt and Meridith never stops sizzling. McNaught's flare for discriptive language and vivid imagry makes this book superb and a neverending pleasure to read. The name of the novel, PARADISE, perfectly explaines the feeling after completing the novel, that you've just been to PARADISE.

Summary: no one compares
Review: judith rocks! i cannot say that i've read gobbles of romance novels, but the ones i have read do not even compare to judith mcnaught's writing style. she's incredibly depictive and her detail so vivid that the characters (matt and meredith) come to life on page. (you can experience meredith's scenes of outrage or glee...) i've read all her other books and i would have to say that this is her best novel hands down. and i love how she puts old couples into new books.. like their appearances in 'perfect'. i can't wait till her next novel! anybody know what it's about?

Summary: An earth shattering novel
Review: I would normally refuse to spend my money on romance novels and it was only by chance that I was offered "Paradise" by a friend. I was truly glad I didn't turned down the offer because this novel successfully gripped hold of me with an intense force. It was a page turner and one will find it hard to put the book down when the reading starts. The author has managed to write a spellbinding love story of Matt and Meredith on how they met, fell in love and were to get married all within 4 days. Unfortunately, they were separated by the underhand means of Meredith's father who hated the sight of Matt. The story scan pass 11 years when Matt and Meredith crossed each others' paths again. The story follows with many misunderstandings between the two of them, obstacles, new passions that arised again and so forth. This novel absolutely worth the time and money spend on it.

Summary: Reading this WAS Paradise!!
Review: I haven't yet found a book that beats this contemperary romance. This was the book that got me started reading romance novels. I read Paradise twice in french, then bought it in english and read it three more times! I never get tired of Matt and Meredith. When I heard that they appeared in Perfect, I didn't waste any time to buy that book to. I recommend this book to everybody. It is truly a great read

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: FABULOUS!!!! Her best novel ever. I didn't want it to end.
Review: Ms. McNaught introduced me to the man of my dreams. I fell head over heels in love with Matt Farrell. I felt like I was right there with him and Meredith. Amazing how moving this story is. I have read it twice and I'm sure that I will read it again and again. I certainly never tire of good romance and Paradise is the best EVER.... Every romantic should read Paradise at least once. Looking forward to more fabulous reading from Judith McNaught.
