Summary: Second half is great!
Review: I agree with a previous reviewer who said that a lot of the book was superfluous...The first half dragged..it could have been condesnsed with better results...I enjoyed it much better after Meredith and Matt met again!...Then the story and the characters come alive!

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: Paradise is a must read story
Review: I was introduced to read "paradise" after I read "perfect". I think that book is the best romance novel ever written. I am in love with both characters.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Ultimate Romance Novel
Review: Of all the novels I have read, and I have read hundreds, this is my all time favorite. It is wonderful, magical, and most wondrous of all, it feels real. It feels as if you have read a true life story, simply because of the emotions it conveys, and the way it leaves you feeling. Also, Matt Farrel is unparalled as the hero. I want one just like him.

Summary: STRETCHED UNMERCIFULLY
Review: Inspite of a good and strong storyline, there are atleast 200 pages in the book which were absolutely not needed. The book pulls and pulls till the very end and leaves you wanting for something more from an author as good as Judith McNaught. Her other books are definately much better. The past here is too in depth and the scenes corny at best. A real dissappointment......

Summary: BEST BOOK EVER
Review: I love all of her books , but this one was the best, these books of her's are why i read romance

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good but others are better
Review: I enjoyed the story, and the sparkling and often amusing dialog between Meredith and Matt. Matt is wonderful. Meredith is a disappointment. She is far too forgiving. Her father causes an eleven year riff between her and Matt, and she barely has a harsh word to say to her Father. If I lost eleven years with a man like Matt, I'd be really mad. I knew the story would end happily, but for a few moments I wondered if Meredith would find her spine. Others of Ms. McNaught (Elizabeth in 'Almost Heaven' comes to mind first) heroines are much more to my liking.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Unparalled writing and uncomparable emotional intensity.
Review: I have read "Paradise" seven times in four years and it is still a page turner. I laugh, I cry, and I fall in love with Matthew Farrell over and over again. "Paradise" is the most amazing book, by JM or anyone else, that I have ever had the joy to read. She outshines such legends as Sandra Brown and Danielle Steele. All of her books are extraordinary, but you can't say you've read a romance novel until you have treated youself to the ultimate "Paradise".

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: MY MOST FAVORITE ROMANCE NOVEL!
Review: I cannot say enough about this book! I have read it three times, and I still cry everytime. The tension Judith McNaught creates between the characters makes me not want to put the book down! It is a classic love story, and it makes me wish my life were as exciting. I have read many romance novels by varying authors, but this one always sticks out in my mind as the best. If you haven't read it yet, you'd better get started. You'll want to keep reading to find out what happens, but you'll be disappointed when it ends!
