Summary: THIS BOOK IS PURE MAGIC!
Review: This book is wonderful! I have read it over and over! Warren is so funny when he tries to resist Amy who is determined he will be hers. The scene after they are robbed is so funny! He gets so irritated at Amy, mainly because he has fallen for her and is determined to NOT! He keeps threatening to spank her and she never believes that he really will and when he finally does turn her over his knee at the end it is very funny and then he thinks she has given up on him and he about has a fit! Read this one... it is truly Lindsey at her best! By the way, Taishi is a hilarious additiion to this book. He kept me in stitches.

Summary: Not the best Malory
Review: Another Malory book in the series, not bad,but not great. I loved Amy. Warren wasn't bad,but took awhile to like him. Amy is so strong in this story you wish you knew her and could talk to her.Recommended A++++

Summary: Magically Endearing
Review: Johanna Lindsey has always been one of my favorite authors, and the Malory family has been my favorite fictional family. I don't believe The Magic of You is as great as the other books in the series, but it was real close. (In my humble opinion none of the other Malory books has been able to top Gentle Rogue, though they are all splendidly told). I was delighted that J.L. made Amy the predator. It's about time that a woman rakeishly persued the man she wanted. I loved how Amy was able to bring love and laughter back into Warren's empty shell. I loved every magical moment of this enchanting novel.

Summary: Derogatory language.
Review: I have been a JL fan for some time and was thoroughly enjoying this book until I reach the middle of the book where the Chinese characters were introduced. If JL has done a LITTLE research, she would have known that the term "Chinamen" is a derogatory term used against Chinese people similar to the N word used against African-Americans. Throughout the book, she only used the word "Chinamen" to describe the Chinese men. I always thought people from China are called Chinese! Also, there are Oriental rugs and Oriental lamps, but NO Oriental people! This book was such a good book, but the racial derogatory language hinders any PC reader from thoroughly enjoying the book. And before anyone say the language was justified because it was set during the 1800s, let me remind them that the book Huckleberry Finn was banned in some schools for its use of racial terms and HF is a CLASSIC. I don't know who I am more disgusted with: the writer for using the derogatory terms, the publishers who didn't do a better job editing, or the readers for condoning it. Because the book was enjoyable until the Chinese characters were introduced, I gave it a 2 instead of a 1.

Summary: I Love Everything Johanna Writes....
Review: And, this is one of my all time favs. Amy is sweet, spirited, willful, loving and determined. She's everything a romance novel heroine should be. You can't beat this fast-paced and adventure some book for a book ole' fashion drink of love. Warren is a great male lead. He's strong, big and not really looking for a "love." He never really knew what hit him. Amy is everything he could ever want. I love and adore this book and constantly hope for more and more Malory Novels. Keep 'em coming.

Summary: Nothing but the best!
Review: I have read this book three times and I love it even more every time. Being as it was my first Romance novel some years ago, it just led me into a whole new, exciting, world. But, I have one question... When is JL going to write a book about Jeremy? Isn't it about time?

Summary: Great -- but can't compare to "Gentle Rogue"
Review: I really enjoyed this book. It had all the trademark characteristics of a Malory novel: fast-paced plot, witty dialog and tender moments, and my favorite characters: James, and Jeremy. I really liked Amy and her agressiveness towards Warren, she is a Malory after all, but she still pales in comparison to my favorite Malory woman: Regina. I did not like Warren because I think he is too gruff and old for Amy. Still, I like him more than Nicholas, who keeps growing on me, and his confronations with James are priceless. Can't wait until Jeremy and Jack get their own stories.

Summary: Excellent , entertaining- one of the best I have ever read
Review: For a change the woman chases the man . I absolutely loved this book. Who could not fall in love with the charectors, and it was so much fun reading how Amy tried to get Warren. The only critism I have is that I got a bit impatient with Warren for resisting her when he obviously was in love with her. Everyone needs too have this book. highly amusing!

Summary: The Magic of You
Review: This is right up there as being my favorite Malory novel. Anytime James Malory and his brother-in-law Warren get together, there is bound to be entertainment! The fact that James would name is daughter Jack just to rile them is hysterical! This book also allows the reader (and other Malory family members) to see that James and Warren really to have something in common - a great deal of love for Georgina. This one had me laughing while walking on the treadmill at the gym! I also read it in one day, it's that captivating! As always, I can't wait for the next Malory novel.
