Rating: Summary: Lighthearted romantic comedy Review: Dom Longstreet is a handsome, rich Broadway producer who is currently sponsoring a musical spectacular. In a moment of generosity he now greatly regrets, he agreed to babysit his niece and nephew for 3 weeks while his brother and sister-in-law go on a vacation far far away. Unfortunately, the daycare center where the kids go 8-5 on weekdays is closed for 2 of those weeks and he is frantic. Molly Applegate works at the center, which is owned by her cousin, and he talks her into being a nanny for the kids for him. Molly is a free-spirited woman who has had tons of jobs, but this may prove to be the most exciting job of her life.Kasey Michaels writes funny books, and this one is very lighthearted. I had real trouble believing that a man as rich and handsome and self-centered as the hero would agree, under any conditions, to babysit kids. But if you can get past that, the story is fun.
Rating: Summary: Can I give this 6 stars???? Review: Good Golly Miss Molly aka Molly aka Margaret Applegate is an heiress to a fortune although sshhhhhh, it's a secret! Ignored by her parents and being shipped to every private school in the country, Molly has grown into a free-spirited and independent woman just looking for fun. After her parents death, she learns that she must hold down a job (any job) for 10 months out of the year to maintain her inhertiance, or she can marry to receive all her money, but Molly will not settle for that. Molly is in the right place at the right time. Watching over her cousin Janie's day care when she meets Dominic Longstreet. He is a big time Broadway producer just looking for a safe place to dump his neice/nephew for two weeks while his brother is on vacation so that they will be out of his hair. Bad new, the day care is closing and will not be able to watch the kids...enter Miss Molly with her gorgeous red curls and long legs. She decides to play nanny for a couple of weeks to help him out...poor girl, she gets to move into a mansion supplied with everything her heart desired. But, remember...she's got plenty of money of her own...but, it's a secret. I ****LOVED**** this book!!! It was extremely funny and will have you laughing out loud. Maybe the idea of a handsome millionaire not being to find childcare on his own is a little far-fetched, but this is fiction people....isn't that why we read it? Molly's character is someone that I would LOVE to have as a girlfriend. She's charming, hillarious, and has a heart of gold when she lets someone get close enough. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Michaels will write a sequel to This Can't be Love b/c I would love to know how Molly & Dom's life emerges.

Rating: Summary: A funny romantic read! Review: I read this book on my recent vacation and I must say I was impressed! This is the first time I've read Kasey Michaels, and I loved it. The charactor of Molly is well developed, and we see why she acts the way she does. After I read this, I read her book "This Must Be Love" which brings in Molly's cousin Janie. You should ideally read that first before this one. These books take place at the same time with the books interweaving their respective storylines, which is neat. I would recommend this book to anyone - but read the other one first!
Rating: Summary: What a gem!! Review: Kasey Michaels has a winner here. This Can't Be Love is entertaining and is filled to the brim with unforgettable characters. The pace is lively and fun. Loved Dom and Molly!
Rating: Summary: Likeable characters enrich a hilarious romance! Review: Kasey Michaels' books are a hit-and-miss proposition for me. Some, I absolutely LOVE. Others, I find the characters self-centered and annoying. Luckily, "This Can't Be Love" is of the former variety. All the characters in this book are extremely likeable (with the exception of those that aren't supposed to be!). Both the major and minor characters are reasonably well-developed. And this book is hilarious! I laughed out loud while reading it. Michaels also does a good job of developing the romance between Molly and Dom -- Molly especially really has to work through some issues. Those issues are nothing new in romances -- something Michaels actuallly pokes fun at by calling Molly a "textbook case." Still, Molly's so much fun, and so loving, that you're rooting for her the entire time. A great read I couldn't put down!
