Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Another winner for Nora Roberts
Review: This is the second in a series of three by Nora Roberts. So far the Stars of Mithra series has not been a dissapointment in the least.

M. J. O'Leary is a witty spitfire who is happy running her own business until her life is turned upside down by a bounty hunter named Jack Dakota. Jack has been sent to catch M.J. who is supposedly a bail jumper. He soon discovers this isn't the case, but that discovery only brings to light more questions instead of answering them.

M.J. and Jack only have each other to rely on as they try and deciper the mystery, but in order to do it they have to learn to trust each other. This leads to a whirlwind romance and a very suspenseful story. One I am sure you will enjoy, as I did.

Summary: Best yet!
Review: This was better than the first book which was great. This one still had the romance but along with a lot of action. You got to love M.J she has spunk! Jack the bounty hunter is MJ match all right. This book had never ending adventure and the pages really turned between M.J. and Jack's romance and fighting. Start with Hidden Star it is best you read these in order. This was a great read.

Summary: wonderful book
Review: This was the best book in the series. M.J. was a great, strong character. Jack was just as strong. I agree with the other reviewer...that it was about who can kick who's ... better. They were funny. I definitely could relate to MJ's personality. I would recommend starting with Hidden Star first. I started with Captive Star first, but there didn't seem to be any lapse in the story. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Enjoy!!

Summary: Didn't finish it...
Review: Which, for me, is saying quite a lot. I've read some of the most revolting trash possible, and the eternal optomist in me leads me to push on, in the hopes that it will get better. I guess I expected more from this book, seeing as how it is Nora Roberts. I love Nora Roberts! I devour every book she writes as soon as they hit the stands, and since I started late, I backtrack to get a hold of her old ones, but this is the exception to a so-far unbroken rule.

I found the dominating hero both tedious and typical, and the way he spends most of the book handcuffing the heroine to every available surface quickly gets old. Still, what I hated most of all was how she let him do this to her. She is supposed to be a blackbelt, and yet she continues to let him push and pull her instead of planting her feet and DEMANDING that he treat her as an equal. If you like Nora's usual way with independant, interesting heroines, you'll definitely want to skip this one, but if you don't mind weak-willed women and domineering men, by all means, buy it and read it...
