Review: From the first page to the last, I was hooked. Bought it on Thursday at lunchtime and I was done by Friday evening. Ms. Cheekes'first novel was a treat and I am looking forward to more from her. I had the privilege of meeting the author recently at a book club meeting and it all made sense to me. I loved the way she localized the book (I live in South Florida) and I loved her characters. She fulfills the promise of a good novel, it's interesting, funny, dreamy and yet leaves you with hope. Pick it up ladies! It's definitely worthwhile.

Review: This novel is truely one I did not want to put down. I love how the plot opens as u continue to read the book. It keeps you guessing and wanting to know what is going to happen next. I definitely recommend this book to everyone. Great job Shonda :)

Review: Shonda Cheekes did an excellent job on this story! The storyline kept me in suspense until the end! I read this book in 1 day! Yani went through a lot of drama but she prevailed! I am looking forward to a sequel to this book involving her sister since she too went through a lot of drama too. Kudo's to you Shonda for this GREAT BOOK! YOU GO GIRL!

Review: Shonda Cheekes is an excellent writer! This book was wonderful, and full of excitement, adventure, suspense, you name it. The title of the book makes you believe that it is about another story line, but this was a good thing, because you never expected it to be about what its about! Just buy this book so you can see what I am talking about! I can not wait for her next novel. Definitely a page turner! This book gives you a sense of hope with life in general...when you may have felt that there was none. Very refreshing story! Good Luck Shonda!

So take it from a avid reader.
