Review: This is a great book. Judith and Iain will wrap themselves around your heart. She's got a lot of spirit and intelligence. He's got sensitivity and intelligence. I had to purchase another copy because the first one started to get very ragged. :) Iain is IMHO the best hero Garwood has written (although McBain in Saving Grace is a close 2nd).

Review: I discovered Julie Garwood only two years ago, and since then I have read every book she's written. THE SECRET was very funny, ( I laughed out loud ) and endearing. Judith and Iain are strong characters and the secondary characters really added to the story. Its a sweet story about how love and conviction can stand up against the worst of times. "One whisper, added to a thousand others will become a roar."

Review: This romance has more than just the male/female relationship theme, it also contains the story of two female friends looking out for each other. Too many romances of this genre portray women as enemies competing for the same man rather than allies. This is refreshing. It is the story of a woman breaking old taboos and boundaries through education, to bring hope to her friend. Yet it still contains a wonderful romance full of comedy and intrigue. I have read this one many times.

Review: I have just finished reading this book, I already miss Judith & Iain. I hope there is a sequel. I have read many of Garwood's books and I am never disapointed. The secret was a wonderful escape, I loved Iain and his devotion to Judith. I only wished my husband had a little "warrior" inside of him.......

Summary: This book was FANTASTIC!!!
Review: The Secret was the first Historical Romance I ever read. I loved it so much that I read it 13 times!! I have a friend who is legally blind and when I told her about the book, she asked me to read it to her over the phone since I didn't live close to her. She absolutely loved it also and had me read it to her over and over again. We both fell absolutely head over heels in love with Iain, he was and still is our perfect dream man. This is one book that can not be put down once you pick it up no matter what time of night it is. I saw many a sunrise because I was so engrossed in the story from the first reading to the 13th. I have let other people borrow my book and everyone came back with the same feeling as I had about this wonderful story--happy and wishing that todays men were as wonderful as Iain is--considerate and loving, strong and soft.
I keep looking for a sequel to The Secret. I hope Julie Garwood writes one soon. Every one of her books have made me laugh and cry and left me hoping fo

Summary: Secret...made me cry and laugh at intervals!!
Review: This is the First J. Garwood book I read..and right from the start it caught me and kept me reading till the last page.(I was hoping for more) You Laugh right along with the characters..the tears flow easily, this book leaves you with a great feeling... The scene when Judith meets her older brother.. well you actually feel as if its happened to you..
As for J. Garwood's insight and understanding of the Scots Highland ways..all I can say is you really believe you're there... A must read for anyone who needs a good laugh or cry... My favorite scene is the wedding scene!! Like Judith says to Frances Catherine..I think I married Ian?? or words to that effect...you really leave that one thinking hmm did she or didn't she?? I hope that you find this book as entertaining a I did
