Review: Julie Garwood always seems to amaze me with the wonderful qualities of all her heroines. They always seem to have so many facets in their personalities, sense of humor, loveability and extremely down to earth. If only we should all be so lucky to find a love as pure and sincere as that love that is in all of Garwood's stories.

Review: In my opinion SECRET is one of the funniest books written by Julie Garwood. This is one of the only books that I've read that didn't need some diabolical plan to be interesting. I laughed (especially at the way Judith reacted each time she had to act as midwife) throughout the entire book! I only hope that there will be more stories to come from this one. I've read RANSOM (wonderful work) but I would really love to read more about these characters, they are just priceless! But then again I shouldn't be surprised... it is after all Julie Garwood we're talking about!

Review: I really enjoyed this read. Julie does a nice job with highland stories and this one does not fail. I enjoyed these characters so much I found myself thinking of them throughout the day when, instead of working, I really wanted to be reading to finish the story. I liked Judith's courage and boldness and Iain's strength and tenderness. The only thing missing was more of the Scottish dialect that would make me really feel that this was the Scottish Highlands, ye ken? But that still does not taint this wonderful story. I need to reread some of it tonight just to get the feeling back. Thanks Julie, well done! Can't wait to read Ransom now and see what happens to Brodick and Ramsey.

Review: I have just recently discovered the treasures Julie's books are. This is the second book of hers I have read and again I was totally enchanted. I could not put this book down, read it in a day. I love her characters. Iain is about as much of a man as a man can get and Judith is totally adorable! How can you not love them? I love highland romances and Julie Garwood knows how to grab hold of a reader and not let go. I hope the next one is as good as "The Bride" and "The Secret".

Review: Ian and Judith's story captured my heart like a modern day Romeo.Judith is a character that would stand by those she belived in through it all.I admired her fierce loyalty to those she "belonged" with. I would love to see a story about Brodick who captured my fancy.

Review: This was the second book I had read by Ms. Garwood. I was not impressed with the first one and I forget the name of it. But this one!!! I loved it! Her characters are well written.The story moves well. I am impressed with the way she she brings some of the modern concerns of our time to that setting such as child abuse and neglect, alcoholism and women's rights in such a wonderful way! I enjoyed this story so much. I have 2 other books here by her and will read them as soon as I get off this thing! Very good Ms. Garwood. You have another fan of your work. You captured my heart and imagination the same way Judith captured Iain's. I'd like a sequel please. END
