Rating: Summary: Not as good as "The Last Viking". Review: When I first read this book I was in love with it, I thought that Johanna Lindsey had mastered time travel and vikings. That opinion was changed as soon as I read "The Last Viking" by Sandra Hill. J.L. is one of my favorite authors, but Mrs.Hill WAY outdid her on this one.
Rating: Summary: A definite page turner--romance plus history lesson. Review: A touching book. Prudish Roseleen is awakened sexually by the epitome of male sexual magnetism in Thorn. What better way to portray the ideal male by creating a devastatingly handsome viking barbarian who has eyes only for our heroine, Roseleen. Bookish Roseleen finally succumbs to her physical desires for Thorn, and discovers the love she's been seeking for 28 years. Thorn's character develops from a barbarian into a sensitive and loving man, with a little help from our heroine while traveling through time. A satisfying read.
Rating: Summary: A must read! Review: I recommend you read this book on a day when you have no other commitments...it is impossible to put down! I enjoyed every moment!
Rating: Summary: A Great Time Traveling Romance! Review: Lindsey does a great job in this romantical tale with time traveling. She has done her research on Viking gods and Valhalla. With time traveling, cursed swords, and throwing in a male and female, Lindsey takes us on an adventure filled with romance. This light-hearted story will have a person smiling on the gloomest on days.
Rating: Summary: Her best so far! Review: I have read many of her books and this was the first to have me crying at the end. It is romantic, funny, interesting and informative. I could actually put myself in Rosaleen's shoes.
Rating: Summary: BEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ Review: I LOVE THE WORLD OF FANTASY, AND MINE HELPS KEEP ME SANE WITH A HUSBAND, THREE DAUGHTERS, AND A FULL TIME JOB. JOHANNA IS GREAT, AND I LOOK FORWARD TO EACH AND EVERY BOOK. THIS BOOK TAKES ME TO ANOTHER WORLD, AND MY FANTASY IS THE LIMIT.
Rating: Summary: Outside glitz 10 times better than story Review: Johanna Lindsey, "Until Forever", Avon, 1995. A disjointed tale of Thorn (you know Thor's little brother) and Roseleen (wronged history prof and weapons nut). The set back cover and marketing verbage was almost worth the price. Almost, think Fabio (with dark hair) mostly naked, with sexy clad super vixen tastefully positioned to eclipse his, well you know. Unfortunatley the outside glitz was 10 times better than the inside story. Johanana spends "Forever" screwing up history and making meek attempts to fix it. Along the way Thorn's caveman interaction with Roseleen was trying and the ending a little too neat and contrived. I was disappointed, once again Madison Ave. promises but does not deliver.
Rating: Summary: Great Read. What an imagination.... Must Read Review: Just read the book. It's great.... Realistic, funny, serious and lots of raw imaginings.... You won't be disappointed.. Good job Johanna...
Rating: Summary: Classic Lindsey Review: Lindsey captures the essence of romance in this fairytale about a wonderfully cursed sword.Time travel, viking legends, and witches are interwoven in this tale creating a magnificent tapestry of words. Even though time-traveling vikings is a bit on the unbelieveable side, Lindsay makes it believable. I had a hard time putting this one down and finished it in three days, I think that's a record for me with my busy life!! I recommend it!!!
Rating: Summary: excellent!!!!!!! Review: the book was one of my favorite one's yet, everytime I read one of her books I can't put it done. I love how in this book she made it seem like it was a time travel book. The best part of the whole book was at the end when she brought him back to her year.!
