Rating: Summary: refreshing - funny - great heroine Review: After reading this book, I was left wondering who was the master of desire. In a twist on the romance novel formula the heroine Emily is chasing after/desiring the hero Draven. It was a refreshing change of pace. Emily is a spunky character that I admired and the humor in this book made it a delightful read.
Rating: Summary: Funny & sexy - great dialogue Review: My first book by Kinley MacGregor - I thouroughly enjoyed it. I love humour in these books and this one is full of it. I read constantly and own probably a zillion books (I hate to sell them) and I'll definitley buy more by MacGregor to add to my library.
Rating: Summary: Wonderfully fantastic Review: I picked up this book after reading Fantasy Lover and all I have to say is YOWZA! This is one of those classic stories that stays with you long after the book ends. I loved Draven's strength and the fact that unlike most heroes, he didn't whine about his past or blame others. He was a man who needed a good strong heroine who wasn't nasty and mean and that's what he got. it was filled with delightful secondery charcters, great sex scenes and heart warming moments. Sherrilyn/Kinley really knows how to touch a reader's heart. I can't wait for her next MacAllister book.
Rating: Summary: Eh... Review: I guess I've been spoiled by Julia Quinn, Stephanie Laurens and Liz Carlyle, but I was disappointed with this book. All the elements seemed right, but just didn't come together with a story that engaged me. It was shallow and simple, and not all that spicy...
Rating: Summary: This is a wonderful story Review: Humor and passion is what Cristina Dodd said, and I totally agree. I have found a new favorite author.
Rating: Summary: one of my many keepers Review: This is one of my very favorite books I own.I pull this one off the shelf when I have nothing else to read or am between books. I probably read it seven times already. This is one of the only books I never get tired of reading.I call this book a perfect romance because it is pure sweetness at it's best.
Rating: Summary: Pleasant Read Review: Quirky characters and an interesting plot makes for a pleasant rainy day read. Nothing exceptional or monumental, but still worth the effort.
Rating: Summary: Love it, love it, love it !!!! Review: This book is sooo amazing.... I laughed a lot when I read it. Emily is the beloved daugther of Hugh. When Hugh and Draven went to the King about a problem, the King ordered Draven to take care of Emily for 1 year in order to make peace between the 2 men. Hugh was shocked, but Draven was even shocker than him. He never had women around his castle before because of an old curse. Emily took the idea willingly and set Draven to be her husband (since Hugh was an overprotective dad and shooed away all the suitors, she thought that this might be her chance after all, to have a husband) It was so funny to read Emily's effort to 'seduce' Draven. And Draven weak effort to try to ignore Emily. =)) Love is sweet after all ;P Well, this book is really great... and I'm waiting for her next books ^_^.
Rating: Summary: Even better than her last. Review: I didn't think MacGregor could write anything better than Master of Seduction. I stand corrected. I started this book and six hours later when I finished, I realized I had forgotten to eat or move. I'm just glad it was the weekend. Draven and Emily are classics! This is one of those rare books that is destined to remain a keeper for anyone who touches it. I ran the full gamut of emotions, tears, laughter, joy, aching. Everything said before is so true. I honestly can't express just how wonderful I found this book. MacGragor has another new fan and I've already preordered the next one. And Kinley, if you read this, then add me to the list that wants Simon's book. I adored his character. He would make a great hero too and I want to know what happens with Emily's sister and her Highland husband too. She deserves happiness after being married to such a jerk.
