Summary: HARD TO BELIEVE THIS WAS HER FIRST TIME-TRAVEL
Review: This was my first Linda Howard and now she is one of my favorites. I just fell in love with Son of the Morning and had to go look for her books. I tried it because of the reviews on Amazon.com and I really do not regret my decision to go out and buy it. It was hard for me to believe this was her first time-travel since I am a very big fan of time-travel romance. It was just so well written and very informative. I enjoyed every page of this book and I do hope she keeps exploring the realm of time-travel. There are very few good time-travel romances out there and Son of the Morning is a treasure among them. Good work Ms. Howard! Keep it up!!!

Summary: I was shocked.
Review: I do NOT read romances, but i read a lot of action adventure & sci-fi. But I have to read something before going to bed, and I didn't notice it was a romance..... This was probably the best action filled, most interesting book I have read in quite a while. the writer obviously is of the highest quality. There was only 1 weak point I could see, and it was obscure. This book could easily have been listed in a genre other than romance. Write more!

Summary: Fascinating ... + great history!!
Review: I hadn"t read a Linda Howard for ages, since Sarah's Child, but Son of the Morning was well worth the wait. The plot was great and the character development (mainly Grace's but even, to a certain extent Niall"s was wonderful. Grace shows us how a housewife come academic can survive on the run to outwit her pursuers. The book did make me a bit worried about the possibility of manipulating ATMs though.LH did borrow a few ideas - mainlt, I think, from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Iris Johansen"s The Lion King but neither were as sexy and as informative as Son of the Morning . And the manipulation of the Time travel theme creating a sort of circle in time was also great (even though the Hitler idea which crops up in the end seems a bit of an afterthought). One thing which this book has left me with is a hunger to know more about the Knight Templars. I'm Maltese and have heard a lot about hte Knights of St. John (a.k.a. the Knights of Malta) but I have to admit that I used to believe that the Knights Templar was just another name for the Knights of Malta

Summary: It doesn't get any better than this!
Review: As an avid romance reader and novice writier, I enjoy reading and learning from the best. No question, Son of the Morning is one of the best. I read continuously, so the characters of lesser novels can easily get jumbled in my mind and be quickly forgotten. Not so with this book. I read it months ago and it's still with me. Without doubt, if you love strong characters, tight and twisting plot, a sense of mystery, terrific historical knowledge and HOT romance, this is the book for you! I love time-travel books and this is by far the most exciting one I've read. Grace and Niall are perhaps two of the strongest, most well written characters ever. And, Niall is the stuff dreams are made of! On my top ten list of romance novels, this book ranks No. 1!

Summary: A MUST READ AND A KEEPER -- ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!
Review: This was one of the best, if not the best, book I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Though I have not always been a big fan of Linda Howard, "Son of the Morning" is so well written, wonderfully researched and has such sizzling lovemaking that I am a fan of hers now. I only wish Ms. Howard would write another book similar to this, i.e., time travel romance, since she is obviously so terrific at this type of writing.

Summary: Wow - when do they come out with the movie!
Review: I loved Diana Gabaldon and took a reference (from here) to try this. This was a GREAT book. Kinda a cross between the X-files and Indiana Jones. I have never read Linda Howard before this time and I have to say after reading this I have gone out to get more! The story was very catching which made me stay up late and get up early to finish it and boy was it sexy - gosh.... thinking about reading some of those scenes to DH as see what happens ;-)

Review: Once again, Linda Howard has outdone herself. The build up in this story is so stimulating...you will not be able to put it down!! So, make sure you have a night to read it!! It was sexy, exciting, suspenseful, and romantic. The characters were so believable, and it was a time travel romance-so that says a lot about the book!! You must read this book!! DO NOT MISS IT! Thank you Linda Howard for a truly awesome story...

Review: I read a lot of time-travel romances but this is the first one that I have read with this good of a plot. It was a well written, fabulous book! It was not silly and the main characters were very believable. I am looking forward to reading more of her books!
