Summary: This another read-all-night book
Review: I have always enjoyed every book written by coulter, I usually guess the end of books but this one kept me guessing. The characters in this book were just as enjoyable as the characters in the maze.I have loaned this book to a few friends. They also raved about the plots and surprises. Don't miss this book it's one of the best.

Summary: A complex story with complex characters
Review: I enjoyed reading this book. I have read some of the customer reviews and found out the the reason that "The Cove" receives some low marking is because that the story's plot is very complicated. That is perphaps the reason I like this book. The beginning and the end tie well together. Sometime a person just have to read twice before judging a book.

The only disappointment is that the male hero is a little too unreal. And since I read "The Maze" first, I found the character very disappointing. One might think the heros in both of these books are the same character. The only difference is that one is a computer expert. And ... oh ... why does both the the heroines have nightmares and that both nightmares cause the same result.?

Summary: Fabulous suspense thriller
Review: The Cove is definitely one of Coulter's best suspense books ever. This was a page-turner, up-til-the-wee-hours-of-the-night type of book. I enjoyed every page and found myself thinking about the story long after I'd finished. DO NOT MISS THIS BOOK.

Summary: I wanted so much for this book to get better, it never did
Review: When I started reading "The Cove" I was quickly grabed by the arthor of this book. Her abilty to paint a pichers into words was fabulous. I felt as if I was on the cove. As the story unfolded, it got to be more ridiclas as it went. We left the town in which she did such a wonderful job introducing you to. Then that was it. You spent the rest of the time trying hard to visualize what was going on. I stayed lost. I dont know how to explain the irration I had every time I put this book down. I realy wanted it to get better. The main charater is so pitfil. Everything is always happening to her. Its hard to feel sorry for her after a while. The evil villian DR Beadermeyer, finds this girl no matter where she goes! Im sorry its just not possible. This has got to be one of the hardest books to follow. It took her a month to read it. I think I skipped about 4 chapters.I just wanted to know what happened to the two old people who dissapeard in the begining! And they had nothing to do with the plot! If you must read this, go to the libary.Save your money.

Summary: Every so often I come across a book & I gotta ask....
Review: Somebody actually got PAID for this? Is this supposed to be supsense? Question: Where's the suspense? This is my 1st Coulter novel & I'm really disappointed. Coulter relies too heavily on long passages of dialogue to tell the story and reveal character (personally I find that writing style not only annoying but ineffective). If u really want to read it, I recommend checking this one out at the public library but be sure to return it in time -- even a $0.25/day late fee would be too much for this dud.

Summary: Suspense, Suspense, Suspense.
Review: I enjoyed The Cove. I could feel Sally's terror each time the "Doctor" came at her with the needle. I enjoyed all the main characters as they were well conceived. I felt some of the secondary characters were a little stiff/cardboard. This book is a keeper. I could not put it down. I loved the added "twist" of the inhabitants of The Cove. I am looking forward to "The Maze".

Summary: A turkey
Review: This book is hard to read, a difficult thing for a dedicated potboiler fan to admit.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Alfred Hitchcock would have been jelous of this book!
Review: Small towns just lost their utopian imagery. I will never look @ small towns the same again. This book offers the perfect escape from our hectic lives. Catherine, let me give you some advice: Forget the romance novels and concentrate only on the suspense novels. They are much more enthralling.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Full of twists and turns - Truly original
Review: From the beginning, I felt drawn to the characters and their problems. Ms. Coulter draws her locales so clearly, I can see them in my head as I am reading. A wonderful book from a wonderful, talented author. This book has many twists, turns and surprises and kept me guessing until the last.
