Summary: McNaught formula at work
Review: This is a great story. One of JM's best. (I still think Almost Heaven and Paradise are the best of the best though.) You get the same feeling at the end of this one...you don't want it to end and end up rereading it soon after. Here formula works...meeting and intense attraction, misunderstanding which causes animosity and separation, thrown together again but still have distrust but love conquers, and then learn the truth and love explodes, then another problem causes heartbreak and finally reconciliation and happily ever after... If you like her formula, you'll love this.

Summary: Best love story I have read
Review: If only there were more Royce's in the world. This is one of the best love stories I have ever read. Sometimes, Jennifer's choices ticked me off, but the outcome was always wonderful. THe bed scenes were very imaginable.

Review: This is one of the most beautiful works of Judith Mc Naught that I have read. A true love story that will grab hold of your heart and never let go. A story of courage, pride, patrotism, love, romance, and dreams. Who could ask for more in a book? This book will have you laughing, then to tears, and then cheering the characters on in matter of minutes! But I do have to warn you. If you pick up this book, be prepared not to be able to put it down! I love this book! :) I give it 2 thumbs up and all the stars in the universe!

Summary: Another Winner
Review: Judith McNaught has written another wonderful novel. The fact that some people can get so riled up over the characters show that Judith engages her readers very well. She had the incredible ability to make you feel everything all at once. I couldn't put this one down. If you're into a historical romance set in Scotland, this one is among the best. Don't hesitate to read it!

Summary: A Really Bitchy Heroine
Review: I can't believe this is a Judith McNaught book. My god, how could she have written such a horrendous one? Contrary to what has been written in the reviews, I adamantly recommend that you do NOT waste your money on this book. Here's why:-Jennifer is a bitchy, bratty heroine who whines and is too "silly, shrilly, and shrewish" for her own good. She is so blind to her clan's faults that she gives Royce up for them (at that infamous tournament scene). I mentally screamed through the whole description of her riding away from her husband Royce's stand and joining her "dastardly" kin. Jennifer Merrick ruined the whole book for me. If you want a Judith McNaught book, try PERFECT or SOMETHING WONDERFUL. Now THEY are the better ones!

Review: This book really took me by surprise! Because of the time and setting I was quite sceptical about reading this book. But oh, to my wonderful surprise it turned out to be a WONDERFUL BOOK! A real KEEPER! This book will take you back in time and the characters virtually come alive and make you feel as if you're in the book yourself. This book will make you laugh, cry and cheer out loud. I couldn't put it down! Read all through the night and went to work the next day looking like a zombie but couldn't stop thinking about it. Really people, this book is sooooo wonderful that I cannot express in words how much I love it. The part when Royce told everyone to behold the new duchess of Claymore gave me goosebumps and the climax when Jennifer ran to Royce and fell down on her knees during the jousts made me cheer out loud. This is too great for words.This is one of my favorite JM books. I wish they would make a movie out of it! FORTY IS THIS MANY!
