Summary: WONDERFUL IMAGINATION!!!!
Review: magnificent work! this is my all time favourite . i find myself reading it over and over again. Particularly the part where conversation takes place between Royce and Jenny. It was also very touching where Royce was constantly bewilded by her spit-fire charm and her courage. Could feel my cheeks blushing when Jenny discovered that Royce was actually handsome. I can just imagine her expression. The fact that fate had brought two people together no matter what the odds are....simply awesome! i wish McNaught would write more. It would sure fill in my free time or when i'm travelling.

Review: For all you critics with completely nonsensical comments, allow me to make a point: this is a book of fiction, one in which we allow ourselves to indulge in a little fantasy. Who, in a fantasy, would envision herself as "plain?" You woould want to be stunning, smart, and find this kind of incredible love that overcomes all. And the heroines are very well-educated and very capable of holding their own with their male counterparts. They play chess excellently, read Machiavelli, and are often bi-trilingual! Part of the reason the man falls for them has much to do with her intelligence and quick wit. This is easily proven by the fact that although the men are surrounded by beautiful women, they disregard them as flaky and shallow. Please keep in mind that these books are a wonderful fantasy...why would we want them to be too realistic?

Review: This was my first Judith McNaught book. Though I intend to try a few more, I wasn't impressed. The sex seens were great, but the long descriptions in between were boring. I found myself skimming them, rather than reading them. I hope her other novels are better.

Summary: My all-time favorite!!!
Review: I read this book about 8 years ago, my first by Judith McNaught, and I got instantly hooked. Now I own all her books, I have read especially this one over and over again and know it by heart. It is a great read, touching and entertaining and will make you cry at the end. What makes it so special are the unique characters that are particularly developed, a great story line and a bit of action so it never gets boring. An absolute MUST READ, you won't be disappointed!!

Review: Perfect! True love! Wonderful people! Hello? Excuse me while I die laughing. I have read about 5 of Ms. McNaught's books and while I think she writes pretty good sex scenes, practically everything else about her books irritates me. All her faults are encapsulated in this one. 1) Way too looooooooooong! ok, ok, so the hero and heroine have to have earthshaking sex a coupla times - does that mean the suffering reader has to wind her way through intricate and implausible plot twists for a 100 pages more from where the book should have stopped? 2) Why, oh why, does the heroine always have a small nose and chin, rippling, silky, long hair, satiny skin and a perfect bod? Whats wrong with a plain heroine for once? What about a heroine who suffers from flatulence or bad breath like ordinary mortals? 3)Not that there's much to choose b/w them but yes the guy always seems just a little smarter than the woman. Why does whatzername let herself be manipulated so easily? Please people, don't let this stuff sap your brain. Your prince charming will NOT be 7 ft tall and throw you over his shoulder (and anyhow why would you want to be thrown over a shoulder?) - if you like a good romance like I do, try Georgette Heyer (The Nonesuch, The Masqueraders).

Review: An unbelievable book!!! I just finished reading it for the 5th time (not a typo!) I pick it up from my bookshelf when I have nothing to read and want to get back to a "sure thing". This book never lets me down. Every time I read it, it always surprises me. I will never get tired of rereading such a beautiful love story.

Review: All I have to say is that if you haven't read this book, you better be regretting it!! This is a fabulous medieval read, wonderful. I loved this book from beginning to end....it had me entranced. For a lover of medieval historicals this is a must have for your bookshelf!
