Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not as good as the rest of the MacGregors.
Review: "Rebellion" was a historical romance and since historical books are my least favorite, I gave it a 3. I read it because I love the MacGregor series and felt that I shouldn't miss any. To the reviewer from So. California: If you check the front of "MacGregor Brides" it should give you a chart of the family tree along with sequence of most of the books. Hope this helps!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I loved this book!
Review: I found "Rebellion" to be absolutely captivating. The story takes place around the time of the ill-fated battle of Colloden, at a time when Scotland and England were very politically unstable. The main characters, Serena and Brigham, are fabulous. Serena is no typical woman of her time, she is a wonderfully strong character, off-set perfectly by Brigham, the British Lord who walks into her life one day holding her wounded brother in his arms. The history of this story was rich and fascinating, and the love story between Serena and Brigham was unlike any other I have read. There was NEVER a dull moment in this book. The supporting characters in this book, such as Serena's parents - Fiona and Ian MacGregor, Serena's siblings - Coll, Gwen, and Malcolm, Brigham's valet - Parkins, etc. are very well-developed and all play an important role in the story. The reader can't help but become fond of all of these supporting characters. I was swept along by the story that unfolds in this book and could not put it down until it was done. This book is a very satisfying read, well-written and full of romance and excitement. So, pick this book up if you can find it, it is well worth your while!

Summary: A Very Satisfying Read.
Review: I read "Rebellion" when it was first published ( about oh, 8 years ago?) and loved it. It was a wonderful look at the beginnings of Clan MacGregor, and Serena and Brigham are great characters. Highly recommended, even for readers unfamiliar with Nora's Clan MacGregor series.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Thoroughly entertaining!
Review: I totally enjoyed this book - as I do most all Nora Robert's books. I just wish there were a list of all the books in this series, listed in sequencial order. I have now purchased a total of 7 titles about the MacGregor's; reading on though still uncertain of the correct seqence! But it almost doesn't matter. As always, I love Nora Robert's talent for bringing so much personality and development to her characters. Most of all, I love getting to the end of a book and knowing there is more to come in the next title! I only hate it when I get to the end of the series!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Suprised
Review: I was thouroughly surprised with this novel. This was my first Nora Roberts and I am ready for more! The way she transfered from the thoughts from one character to another was very nicely done. There were surprises around every corner that keep you entranced in the story. Enjoy!
