Summary: WONDERFUL!!
Review: I am only sorry that I did not read it before the other McNaught book where Alex and Jorden are secondary characters. I wish I could remember that book!! I have just recently started reading McNaught's books and have read several in a short time; I've confused some of the characters. THe books are so good that I have let friends borrow them and cannot check now! This was the first romance novel that I have read that made me cry.

Summary: Worth Reading!
Review: This is one of my favorite McNaught books. Just when you start thinking that you know what's going to happen next, McNaught comes up with something that totally takes you by surprise! The best part though is the feeling that McNaught can evoke by her wonderful writing. This is definetly a keeper!

Summary: Simply the best.......
Review: This was my first historical romance novel and I wasn't disappointed. After that novel, I collected all of JM's historical novels and they didn't dissapoint either ! BUT this is simply the best she's ever written. I love Alexander's simple innocence and curiousity ! Jordan's tender emotions are also a big hit with me !! No couple in historical romance history can compete with Jordan and Alexander !! Laughs, heartaches, and ROMANCE !! A winning combination !!!

Summary: come on.....you haven't bought this book yet?

Summary: My all-time fave love story!
Review: I became a devoted fan of McNaught's after reading this wonderful story and I still get goosebumps when I read it. Jordan is a wickedly handsome and charming rake, but Alex captures his heart in the most endearing way. ( I just love reformed rakes! ) I felt bad for Tony though and I believe both him and Roddy Carstairs need their own love stories. Jordan's cruelty always brings tears to my eyes, but the intensity of his love is far greater. (Doesn't that last scene kill you when he thinks Alex is about to die?) I make sure to reread this gem a few times each year. My only question is, why doesn't anybody make a movie of this story? Don't wait to read this!

Summary: One of the best Romance Novels in a long time
Review: Even though most people laugh at romance novels,
Classifying them as "weak" I love
them dearly.

Something Wonderful was truly wonderful, and
is one of McNaught's best. The story tugged
at my heartstrings all through it, and I can
tell you, there weren't enough tissues by the
time I finished!

Summary: The love of a good book...
Review: When I sat down one night to begin the journy that Judith McNaught can only write, I thought I would be able to put it down at bed time. I was so wrong. I began the adventure with Alexandra and Jordan with her in her armor and did not notice the time until 3am. I was so inthralled by the story that unfolded from a young girl's affection, to a grown woman's love for her husband. There were times in this story that I laughted and times I cried. Judith McNaught created a story that challenged the reader to discoved the mystery that was created. She always creats twists and turns in the plot that leaves the reader wanting more and more.

Summary: My first and everlasting historical romance from Ms McNaught
Review: This is the first historical romance from Ms McNaught that I read.

I have fallen in love with her after this book.

Summary: I don't like romances but this one is an exception
Review: Okay, I don't normally read romances because they are so silly. But every night I go down on my knees and thank the Lord that I accidently picked up Judith Mcnaught's Something Wonderful. It was the best accident that ever happened to me.

If women read romances to escape the drudgery of their everyday lives, then this book is the best escape vehicle at a woman's disposal. Jordan Hawthrone is the best male creation in modern romance and Alexander one of the most memorable heroine.

What I liked was the sparks between the two main characters which draws the reader to them. The storyline is not something new -- it is a rehashed one from novels before but what gives this novel the lift from something banal to something wonderful is the characterization. Most romance novels like us to beleive that there is this 'war of will' going on between the hero and the heroine. But this book is one which this theme is really explored and exploited to the full.

There's something else which intrigued me in this book. In most romances, the other women in the hero's life sort of dissappear. But here, Jordan's mistress Elise or Alix (can't remember the name) is intriguing. Although we never meet her, two things about her has whet my curiosity. Firstly, the fact that when Jordan was in prison (when he was assumed dead) he kept repeating his wife's name (Alexandra) and his mistresses name too. I figure this must mean she msut have meant something to him. The second fact about this illusive mistress is that after Jordan leaves her, she refuses to become the mistress to other men (and there are many who are willing to have her). This fact is disclosed by one of the characters in the book. This must mean she must have really loved him. So, how about it Ms McNaught? Is there not a book about Jordan and his mistress? It'll pribably have a rather sad ending so it can't be your noraml run-of-the mill romance. Perhaps you should consider writing it under a different genre. By the way, I don't know how others feel about it b

Summary: A great rainy day read!
Review: Too often, romance writers create these lusty heroes that will appeal to all America, yet create "heroines" that are spineless simps with no brains of their own. NOT Judith McNaught. Her heroine here, Alexandra, who is much younger and naive than the hero, Jordan, is intelligent, witty and creative, and not about to let a man walk all over her. Thanks, Judith, for creating a bright heroine who makes us proud. This is a great love story and you'll probably read this one again. (P.S.: for more about Jordan and Alexandra, read "Almost Heaven," one of McNaught's all-time bests.)
