Review: It all begins when, while cleaning out her husband's car, she finds the panties (that are not hers) under the seat. After that the book is off and running, covering the murder, the lies between friends, the effect on the children, the meeting of the new love, and the solving of the mystery in a totally enjoyable romantic comedy format.

Summary: One Of My Favorites!
Review: There are only a handfull of books that I have found thoroughly enjoyable, and this was one. It was a wonderful mix of humor and suspense, and the ending left me completely satisfied. Some of my other favorites are Summer Sisters and Briget Jones's Diary.

Review: I was drawn to this book because of its funny, cute and sexy cover picture, and was so glad to find that the writing inside was as wonderful as the picture outside!What a pleasure to read a good writer! I read this book in 24 hours . . . perfect for a weekend by the pool . . . wonderful characters . . . CJ is so sexy and powerful, a real good fantasy man, and Maddy has the common sense and humor and intelligence I wish I could exhibit! I can't wait for more by Jennifer Cruise!

Review: I really enjoyed this book for the summer. It was fun with a twist of mystery. I would recommend this book to anyone going on vacation and wants a book to read on the trip. I could not put it down in the end until I found out what happened and who was involved.

Review: I just got back to reading again now that my life has slowed down a bit. I am an lover of Judy Blumes adult novels and I accidently came across "Tell Me Lies"...I loved it! Simple to read, romantic and mystery all in one. I recommend it for those who don't want to have a dictionary sitting next to them when they read. I read the book in a couple days and find myself recalling the characters in my mind since then. I miss the book - take it slow and enjoy it!

Summary: not entirely unforgettable
Review: "Tell Me Lies" was a bit too much romance novelesque for this diehard mystery reader. The plot *had* potential for a decent mystery, but somewhere along the line, Crusie switched gears and made it a novel of relationships. This was disappointing for me, but I still finished it. All in all, "Tell Me Lies" isn't a particulary challenging, funny or even memorable read, but I'd recommend it as light reading for the plane if you were desperate and there was nothing else available.
