Summary: Interesting, Funny, and Suprisingly Suspenseful!!!
Review: I usually do NOT go for 'romance novels' but this book was an extremely pleasant surprise. It's not full of 'fluff' and 'knights in shining armor.' Jennifer Crusie is a different kind of 'romance writer.' She blends just the right mix of humor, sarcasm,great sexual interludes (not too kinky or too sappy),enormously interesting characters, and last but certainly not least: SUSPENSE!!! This book made me laugh out loud and shed a few tears, I LOVED IT...and I anxiously await her next novel.

Review: Being a murder mystery fan, I had never heard of Jennifer Crusie until I saw the book in my book club magazine and ordered it as a "lighthearted" diversion before I got into my next thriller. Much to my delight and surprise it actually turned into a mystery but was devastatingly funny at the same time. I do most of my reading at night after my husband goes to sleep and my howling out loud was keeping him awake. I live in a town very much like Frog Point (where EVERYONE knows everyone else's business!) and felt total empathy with the main characters Maddie and Treva. When the book ended I felt a complete sense of loss - like I'd just lost my two best girlfriends. I am thrilled to have found Ms. Crusie and will read ANYTHING she comes up with in this genre.

Review: After finding this book on your site I was anxious to receive and read. What a treat! Growing up in a very small community myself I could truly relate with the characters and plot. It's a must read for all small town girls who try to be 'good'! Will look for additional Cruise novels!

Summary: Wonderful wild women!!
Review: Many people read Jennifer Crusie's books for the humor and I'm one of them, but what makes this book a keeper for me is the handling of female relationships, especially the complex mother-daughter relationships. I liked that the characters made mistakes and couldn't decide at times which way to turn. I liked that they weren't always 100% nice and got exasperated with each other and then felt guilty; it made them real for me. Sure, there's lots of laughs, interesting twists and great sex (greeeaaaat sex!) but it's the way the female characters related to one another and loved and finally began to understand one another that will stay with me. Thank you for a wonderful read!

Summary: A stay-up-all-night romance full of suspense and humor
Review: I'd had been eager to read this book for months, and was not disappointed! Crusie's writing is vivid, realistic and funny. Maddie is a great heroine, and the other characters were well depicted (I especially enjoyed CL's aunt and uncle). Also entertaining was the role reversal of the high school "good boy" and "bad boy". Please write another book soon!

Review: This is the first Jennifer Crusie I've read, and I can't wait for more. This book is a scream! It's on the order of Janet Evanovich, with lots of great sex! Outrageously funny, with insightful examinations of modern day, small town relationships. This book has many wonderful elements - interesting characters, witty dialogue, excellent narrative and great sex! It's a keeper!
