Summary: An Overall Pleasing Novel
Review: Catherine Coulter's The Heiress Bride is a masterpiece on my bookshelf. The general flow of the novel is fast paced though it does slow down enough in spots for readers to catch their breath and their bearings. From the begining of the series you have watched Sinjun grow into her self, while in this hilarious novel, not only is she getting to know herself, but Colin Kincross as well.
Colin Krincross is the an impoverished Scottish earl, who needs an heiress to increase the estates coffers. Throughout this delightful tale they battle for the right to be the "man" of the family. Sinjun with her no-nonsense ways; Colin with his male pride, battle it out to create a delightful romance and slight mystery.
To find out who wears the britches in the family, read the novel. Though, be prepared to laugh, and be a little frustrated with Colin (maybe Douglas and Ryder, too). Enjoy one of Catherine Coulter's finest works!

Summary: The Heiress Bride
Review: Coulter rounded out the Bride trilogy in a very good way. If you read the books in order, you have watched Sinjun grow. Now, in The Heiress Bride, she is all grown up and has fallen in love. Take a ride with Coulter on the rollercoaster of dispair and delight that she has created for Sinjun. The bad, along with the good, makes this book a delightful, although emotionally draining, read that I will enjoy for many years to come.

Summary: Poor Sinjun is wasted here...
Review: I cannot believe this is the same girl from The Sherbrooke/Hellion Bride books. And why on earth does CC insist on tragedy after abuse after disaster for her heroines, I think I read three CC books in a row where the heroine miscarries/is abducted/is abused. And Colin? I don't think so. He leaves her alone with that witch and although he knows she is a virgin, he sure doesn't care, does he? Sinjun, my darling, you deserved better.

Summary: Was this supposed to be a romance?
Review: I didn't like it. I didn't find anywhere in the book where there was romance. Boring, abosoluty boring. I liked the other two in the series, but this one seemed to be just another book to make it a trilogy.

Summary: A wonderful book that will have you reading it many times!!
Review: I found this book to be very witty and humorous. I usually do not read a book more than once, but found this book to be the exception. Sinjun is such a witty and lovable character that you'll be drawn into her life and live out her adventures as well. This book, in fact, the whole "Brides" trilogy is one of Catherine's finest. If you're a Coulter fan, this book is a must have!

Summary: This is a Great Book!
Review: I have owned a copy of this book for so many years, and re-read it so many times that it is almost falling apart. I love it! Sinjun falls in love at first sight and proceeds to show the man of her dreams that what he thinks he wants in a wife is not what he really needs. She overcomes all challenges and continually rises above them.

Summary: Great characters and situations, but empty story
Review: I love Sinjun and I really liked Colin as characters.Colin's children and his sister-in-law were good characters too.But somehow from CC's outline of the book to the fully written thing it just fell apart. As a whole, the book has all the makings of a funny and charming novel but there are so many holes in it when you break it down.First-I think CC might have some sort of prediliction for forced sex because not only was it forced, but it was forced three times in a row.it's like most of her male characters know how to control themselves with mistresses but with wives they can't. Second-the ghost thing was a little unneccesary but it was thrown in because of the Sherbrooke ghost thing in the previous books.I enjoyed the novel but I only see myself reading it once. To me, CC's only consistent regency historical trilogy was the Legacy Trilogy. The stories were god,the characters were great and the pacing and mystery were excellent.CC's Medieval,Viking and stand-alone regencies are her only bright spots in my bookshelf.

Summary: Entertaining
Review: I picked this book up on a whim and decided to give it a try. After a rather tedious beginning, I found myself getting into the story of a young woman infatuated with a handsome earl in need of money. I surprised myself at emotional I became over a few dramatic scenes. Definitely worth recommending, and I'll read it again.

Summary: I found this book to be realistic and fun.
Review: I think the part that I liked best was the fact the the characters remind me of real people. It reminded me of some of the pranks that I pulled in the past. With Alex and Sophie [see first and second books in 'Bride' trilogy] in on the game, this book couldn't be anything but fun. There is also another resident 'ghost'. I guaranty that if you read this book you will laugh too hard to stop

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Disappointing
Review: I was disappointed with this book. It was my first and probably last Catherine Coulter book. I was disgusted with the "love" scenes since there was very little LOVE or any other tender emotion in them. (Primarily the first one) The story line was decent, but the relationship between Sinjun & Colin never developed very well and should've gotten more attention from the author.
