Rating: Summary: Pretty Good Review: I enjoyed this book much more than SOMEWHERE I'LL FIND YOU. I think Logan and Madeleine are both more interesting characters than Damon and Julia.Logan is one of the more interesting romance heros. I have a soft spot for temperamental artists, I guess. However, Madeleine was a bit too sweet and too naive and too immature, where at times I wished I could reach out and shake her a time or two. The first three fourths of the book was very good, with an especially sweet love scene. But near the end comes the tired old "marriage without love" plot which makes me grit my teeth because I've read it so many times. However, my liking for the characters made it endurable.
Rating: Summary: FAVOURITE OF MINE Review: I found that the story of Madeline and Logan was beautiful!Madeline is your typical teenager wearing he heart on her sleeve.Oh,but what a match she was for the jaded Logan Scott!Madeline likes to act on her impulses.Logan likes everything in his life to be routine and stuctured. When the impulsive Maddy decides that she wants him,Logan had better watch out! Passion, love and lust abound. If you want sex read a book by Stella Cameron(Stella is brilliant too!).However,if you want a believeable love story, full of passion and angst,Kleypas is for you! Before you read "BECAUSE YOU'RE MINE",read the story rhat introduces Logan,"SOMEWHERE I'LL FIND YOU".My only complaint about Lisa,is that she doesn't write more books!
Rating: Summary: It had it's flaws, but still a very enjoyable book. Review: I had seen this book before and never felt compelled to buy it, for some reason I didn't think an actor would make a very good romance novel hero. But after I met Logan in "Somewhere I'll find you", I was fascinated by him and had to read his story. The reason I didn't rate this book with 5 stars is because I got really annoyed with the way Logan treats Madeline after he finds out about her little secret. The fact that at first she only tried to seduce him to escape an unwanted marriage does not by far justifies the way he reacted when he found out. After all, he knew all along that she was hiding something, and her secret is not nearly bad enough for him to go into such a temper tantrum and feel so "betrayed". Besides, Maddy had given him ample prove that she really cared about him. She nursed him day and night when he was sick, risking getting sick herself and barely sleeping or eating to be with him. In return he treats her abominably for no apparent good reason. At the end the author tries to explain the reason for this (is not what we originally think), but this doesn't make much sense either. I also found a little exagerated at the beginning of the book, the way he is in a constant state of arousal since the first time he sets eyes on Madeline. On the other hand, the book is entertaining, the love scenes are hot, and Logan, despite his temper and his intransigence is fascinating. Contradictory, isn't it? He is bossy, rude, controlling, with a devil of a temper, and at the same time, he is so sweet, tender, passionate and just lovable. He is one of those romance heroes I wish were real. The scene when he first makes love to Madeline melted my heart. That's why I was so annoyed by the way he acted afterward. But all in all, this is a very good book, I would definitevely recommend it. Lisa Kleypas is rapidly becoming one of my favorite authors.

Rating: Summary: Wonderful, Emotional! I too wish Ms Kleypas would write more Review: I have read most of her books and found "Because You're Mine" to be one of her best. The characters were emotional and the plot was well developed. I stayed up all night turning the pages crying, laughing and wondering how it would all turn out. You can read the editorial review to give you a synopsis on the book, I can only let you know this is a memorable wonderful romance.
Rating: Summary: Simply irresistable! Review: I just finished this book, after staying up until 2:30 last night and had to get up at 7:30 to go to work! As it's obvious I couldn't let it down. This book is one of the best I've read this year and I've read a lot, believe me! Perfectly balanced, the first part where Madeline tries to seduce the famous actor is funny, heart warming, tender and makes you laugh with Logan Scott's attempts to avoid her. The second part is much more serious, dealing with the problems that these two people face. It's a very rare case (for me at least) to see that the two heroes love each other but also understand their reasons for staying away of each other. Usually, most writers fail to make the reason that keeps the heroes apart believable, that reason being almost always some misunderstaning. The whole book is very carefully written, always making the reader understand why the heroes act the way the do, feel the way the do and thus feel close to them. All in all, a very heart warming, touching book with less than flowless heroes that you come to love from page one. Highly recommended!
Rating: Summary: Just Because Review: I like Lisa Kleypas very much, but this was not one of her best. A continuation of a prominent secondary character in SOMEWHERE I'LL FIND YOU, the hero of the book, Logan Scott has been hurt in the past and doesn't trust anyone. At the beginning, the hero's character didn't fall on good graces as he was more interested in profit and the theater rather than the people. Along comes Madeline, who makes Logan feel an emotion he doesn't trust. She's hard-headed and althought her predicament was real, I didn't feel much sympathy for her. I was pulled into their lives as the story progressed; and although the end was quite good, I felt that Madeline gave up very easily. The back cover blurb reads: "Because the Dream...Young, high-spirited Lady Madeline Matthews is expected to wed an aging, lecherous lord. But she would rather shame herself in the eyes of society rather than sacrifice her freedom, and resolves to render herself unmarriageable by indulging in a torrid affair with Britain's most acclaimed actor and notorious womanizer, Logan Scott. Because the Heart...He is a legend in the footlights and in the bedchamber. But when the curtain falls, Logan is an intensely private, guarded man still tormented by past betrayals that cut deep into his pride and heart. Now a forward little minx who seems completely out of place in the bright, sophisticated world of the London stage is disrupting his orderly existence with her constant presence, her unspoiled beauty and vibrant charm. And what begins with an onstage kiss threatens to blossom into something more rapturous and real. But first Logan and Madeline both must be brave enough to drop the masks they hide behind...and reveal their true selves in the golden glorious light of love." S.
Rating: Summary: ***SPELLBINDING*** Review: I started this book and read it in one evening, had to stay up almost all night to finish it. I could not put it down. It is the first one of her books that I have read but you can bet I will read all that I can get my hands on. "Outstanding"
