Summary: Joe? Joe? Joe?
Review: Well, Say No To Joe? by Lori Foster wasn't what I expected but it was definately worth reading! I enjoy all of this writer's books as a rule and this one was no exception!

Summary: Who Would Say No to Joe?!
Review: What a sexy and fun book to read?! The whole story just perfect Everything mixes so well together, chemistry between Joe and Luna; and them with the kids are just so adorable. The way Joe is playing with Austin and caring for Willow are telling me that he is a true family man. For Luna, she has prove herself that she can be a good mother for her cousins and definitely proof her wrong that she, in fact, can say Yes to Joe!

Summary: Horrible, Horrible, Horrible-- feel free to say "NO" to Joe
Review: What absolute garbage this novel turned out to be. Having read and LOVED Zane's story (Wild), I could hardly wait to pick up Joe's story. The official release date on the novel is August 2003, but I was shadowing the book shelves by the end of July, one day stopping at four (that's right, four) bookstores. With anticipation riding me hard, I almost jumped for joy when I finally managed to snag a copy. Needless to say, I almost cried in dispair when I read the story. This was not a good effort. I love formula romance novels, but I think Lori Foster has reused the same formula a bit too often. Far from being an 'alpha' man, Joe was just plain cheesy. And I'm still shaking my head in disappointment at Luna: talk about having no spunk at all. The dilaogue was awful, the sex scenes boring, and the climactic capturing of the villain almost put me to sleep.

If you want to read a novel with an absolutely divine alpha male, check out Linda Howard's 'Heart of Fire'. Ben is the absolute sexiest, most delicious alpha man ever put into print.
The interaction between Ben and the female protagonist (Jillian), is sexy, funny and satisfying. This is the formula Lori Foster should have used when writing Luna and Joe's story.

What do I think about 'Say No to Joe?' : Please, feel free to say 'NO' and spend your money on a book more worthy.

Summary: An exciting romantic suspense
Review: When God created male sex appeal, Joe Winston broke the mold. Of course, Joe immensely enjoys how women covet him, all that is except one. Luna Clark rejected his advances instead of the usual in the sack after one look from him scenario. Swallowing her pride and hiding how much she loves Joe, Luna visits him after a three-month hiatus. She needs his strength to help her with two orphans (Austin and Willow) residing with her.

However, it is not for the kids that she needs him though an adult male can only help. Someone in the town of Visitation want to hurt the two children or at least make them leave and only Joe can keep the trio safe. Joe sees this as the opportunity to finally get Luna in his bed and out of the wrong head (in his mind that is). However, Joe quickly enjoys the company of the kids and will do anything to keep them safe. As he falls in love with Luna, he knows he would risk getting his butt tattooed for her if she would only believe he is serious about her.

The latest Winston tale is an exciting romantic suspense story that fans of Lori Foster, the series, or the sub-genre will fully enjoy. Though a subplot involving a nasty from Joe's past takes away from the steam and speed of the exhilarating story line, readers will appreciate this "family of four" fighting back while turning into a cohesive loving unit. Readers will say yes to this winning Winston thriller.

Summary: Foster is totally on track
Review: When you are introduced to a minor character in a book and are left anticipating the author telling their story, the results are not always satisfying. But, Joe, introducted in Lori's book Wild, totally lives up to his reputation. This is a great story that combines a fabulously sexy, rugged hero, a bright and sassy heroine, and two great kids along with a handful of intriguing secondary characters in what I though was one of the author's best recent works. Loved it. Great characters and wonderful dialog between them. Say yes to Joe.
