Rating: Summary: A LIGHTHEARTED READ Review: I enjoyed Say No to Joe? very much. No, it wasn't terribly deep or terribly suspenseful, but it was lighthearted and fun. Sometimes children in a story tend to bog it down, but these children were well written and Luna and Joe's compassion for and dedication to them was touching. I enjoyed Joe and Luna's refusal to acknowledge their true feelings; with both finally giving in, of course, at the end for the requisite happy ending.
Rating: Summary: Say No to Joe Review: I have liked her previous books, but I thought this lacked the "fun" some of her others had. In fact, to me it was tedious and I, by the middle of the book, sort of glanced through it to the end. The characters were not developed enough for me to like them or care what happened to them. I would not spend the money - get it at the library.
Rating: Summary: Fall in love with a badboy? Review: i loved this book. it was fantastic, you'll fall in love with Joe winston. Its a pefect blend of love and lust. Lori Foster does it again with this book. Just as good as the ones before it (the Winston Brothers, Wild) The family aspect is awsome. And i love the fact that Lori foster knows how man and women communicate and see things. Just fantastic. A must read, for a rainy day, you will definatly get hooked. you'll just want to know if Luna can keep saying no to Joe!
Rating: Summary: Say what? I think I've read my last Foster Review: I think I've finally come to accept that Lori Foster is simply not one of my favourite authors. I've read six of her books and only two (TOO MUCH TEMPTATION and THE WINSTON BROTHERS) did I really think were better than average reads. I've always felt that if you've read one, you've read them all, but had hoped that maybe with the obnoxiously over-confident, danger-loving, risk-taking Joe Winston, we'd see some stretch in the author's range. Unfortunately, it was not to be . . .We first met Joe Winston & Luna Clark in the less than stellar WILD where I found them more interesting than the lead couple. After which I said I'd swear off Foster unless/until Joe's story came out (which I have). Well here it is and I have to say that, though I enjoyed it on some levels, it was not what I had hoped for. Unfortunately, it doesn't stray much from typical Foster fare: boy meets girl, boy lusts after girl, boy and girl have sex, fall in love and get married. Add two kids (Willow and Austin) that Luna has become responsible for and you get instant family. My disappointment comes from the fact that, based on the characters we met in WILD, these are the last two people you would expect to "settle down" and yet they do so easily, quickly and happily. At the start, Joe's a confirmed bachelor, former cop, former bounty hunter, PI, you name it who wants to get into Luna's pants bad. Hardly dad material, right? But within like a week he's acting like a husband and father. And Luna, the spunky, carefree, quirky former psychic's assistant becomes June Cleaver all too easily. The only difficulties they encounter are from outsiders in the small town where they live - and from one in particular who hopes to drive them away (for a pretty flimsy reason if you ask me). OK, so what did I like about this book? Joe. He's so infuriatingly cocky and undeniably sexy and it was nice to see the "bad boy" try to prove himself worthy. He's also smart and sweetly protective of Luna and the kids proving that he really will make a good husband and father. And Luna is very likeable - smart, surprisingly nurturing and very attracted to Joe, but she wants more from him than just sex. Who knew she'd get it? And the teen romance between Willow and Clay Owen was real cute and sweet. And I wonder if the sort of spooky, enigmatic Jamie Creed and will be seen again. An enjoyable read if you just want a sweet love story with a happy ending but it will likely be the last Lori Foster book I read.

Rating: Summary: wish i'd said no to joe Review: i was so excited after the book ms. foster wrote that introduced joe to us. he sounded so hot, but apparently not. after the first 5 chapters, i gave up and threw the book in the trash. i will definately check her books out from now on before i buy. this is not a typical lori foster book.
Rating: Summary: Foster is Supreme! Review: I'll forego the description, since that's been done. I love Lori Foster's comedic style. She's tops in this genre and always delivers a good read. I loved the secondary characters with this one and the (...) chemistry between free-spirited Luna and confirmed bachelor, hottie Joe. The two teenagers add more flavor to the story. One great read!

Rating: Summary: SAME OLD...ALWAYS A BROTHER OR A COUSIN!!!!!!!!!!! Review: I've read all of Lori's books. And I would always buy them as soon as they go on sale. However, I'm getting BORED! She started writing series romances...then branched out. However, for once I would like Lori to write an original book that stands on it's own. All these books that she's putting out have characters from previous books and it's GETTING OLD!!! (HUNKY BROTHERS OR COUSINS) I cringe when reading a book that starts talking about the hero's cousin or brother...cause you then know there's the next book in the making. Even the erotic romances for Kensington Brava have tie in characters. This book was predictible as to who the bad guy was. And much too much filler. This book was around 400 pages and could have been condensed to the size of a series romance. I hate to say it...but this will be my last purchase new of a Lori Foster book. I'll wait to get a copy at the used book store.
