Rating: Summary: I am a big fan of Sandra Brown Review: I have read and kept most of her books so any you have listed for me to read, I probably have read. This is one of some very interesting twists of intrigue and I found this to be one of my favorites. Horrible things happen to good people and sometimes the bad people receive their justification and sometimes not. This is also a very sexy and erotic book that later on takes place and it's just one book you can't put down because you have to find out how the story plays out. Reading the ending is 'taboo' but you also miss so much when you do that.
Rating: Summary: Incredible! Review: I loved it! My favorite by Sandra Brown is Mirror Image, but this one is a close second. I've read it twice and passed it on to friends, who have passed it on to their freinds.
Rating: Summary: page turner Review: I loved this book. It was absolutely INCREDIBLE!
Rating: Summary: A must read. Review: I read this book last year. I couldn't put it down; the main character had such a strong personality which builds up as the story progressed. Through out the story the character was driven by vengeance, which was also partly responsible for her success. The guy in this story goes through such a tragic experience in loosing his wife and child, that he looses the will to live, and is blaming himself for their deaths. He tries to reject the opportunity which he is presented with, but in the end who could reject love, success, and a happily ever after.
Rating: Summary: Breath of Scandal Review: Once again Sandra Brown keeps us begging for more with each turn of the page. Breath of Scandal portrays how small town scandal can be scandlous and how cruel people can be when one of their own has done something bad. Jade Sperry's character shows us revenge can be sweet. But we also see that Jade has been planning such a revenge for such a long time that it hasn't left any time for her own healing until Dillon, who has also fought his way to success shows her she can love again and seek the revenge she desperately needs. Once again a powerful plot and strong characters bring Sandra Brown's Breath of Scandal another book to read and adore.
Rating: Summary: More than 5 Stars!! Review: Once again, I can only say "wow"! So far this is the best Sandra Brown book I've read. In other stories, this many characters may get confusing, but the large cast is what makes this book so interesting. I never once guessed what was going to happen next with any of the characters. The events in this book will leave you amazed! I also recommend "Slow Heat in Heaven" "Where There's Smoke" "Fat Tuesday" and "French Silk"
Rating: Summary: And Justice for all. Review: Sandra Brown is one of my favorite authors because her books have substance, plot, and believable characters, this book is no exception. But be warned, the entire first half of the book is setting the stage. The two main characterd don't meet until well into the second half. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because it was so hard to read tragedy after tragedy with only mildly pleasent moments inbetween. The story is about revenge and redemption. Both the main characters come from tragic pasts and are pounded at every turn by more. Though, at the end, all ends well. Getting there was painful.
Rating: Summary: WOW is all I can say! Review: Sandra Brown touches the heart in almost every way with this book. I can honestly say that I felt true pain for a fictional character. Very rarely does that happen, but I feel that Ms. Brown really exceeded even her own triumphs of previous books with Breath of Scandal. It is as if you are right there with the characters. There is one part of the book that I found terribly hard to read, but not due to bad writing. In fact, it is just the opposite. I found it difficult because it was so well written and very realistic. You feel like you have experienced Jade's tragedy yourself and therefore you heart aches. Just be prepared to grab for the tissues. But once you get through it be ready to cheer triumphantly for Jade. She is prepared and determined to fight her own battle and I feel that she did a great job in doing that. This is definately not the type of book that tries to personify the woman of tragedy as being needy, clingy, or desperate for the knight in shinning armor to come riding up to save her. Instead, Ms. Brown omits all the typical stereotype characteristics and instead makes Jade into the self-efficient strong-willed woman that is, to me, the true realism of today's women. Oh she gets her knight all right, but she relies on no one but herself to save her. If you haven't read this I encourage you to do so. There is romance and tragedy. But there is so much more. Ms. Brown teaches that you can in fact fight your own battles, overcome tragedy, and in time find the happily ever after that you never expected. This is by far her best book!
