Review: I give this book 2 stars, because I was in it for the ride halfway through until physical violence started to dominate the rest of the book. Seriously, how many times can one woman get beat by the four different male characters in this book? I honestly wished I hadn't finished the book, because I can't buy into the fact that Jason and Zoe's relationship was still going to be intact without one of them being put on antidepressants! Very unrealistic book! Gimme a break!!

Summary: A Women That is so confused
Review: A women who once was searching for a man she wanted. Zoe knew a boy down the street that she once loved and had finally got married to.Until all of her life became addicted to sex. She had sex with men and women. She was not finding the right type of pleasure from her husband so she kept going to other people for sex. She loved her husband with all her heart but she kept cheating on him. Since Zoe was about 11 she had a lot of sexual fillings, she was'nt like the other kids. While other girls ran from the boys she wanted to have sex by the boys. When she was at a party once she felt her hormones jumping and she knew she wanted it.
So during her addiction she had to turn to a sex counselor for help. He tried to help her but the addiction kept going on for a while. But one day she realized how much she loved her husband and she knew she had to stop and she did. Zoe end up in the hospital for some medical reason and she felt in her heart and she told him, her husband was upset but he took her back.

Review: I really liked this book a lot. It is so good to where you are not going to be able to put the book down. I read this book in one day that is how much I liked it. The end of the book is very odd you would never think that that would ever happen in that book because it doesn't seem like that type of book for that ending.

Review: A friend of mine gave me this book to read, that she had borrwed from a friend and had to return it by a certain day. I had only 3 days to read this book and I didn't think I was gonna do it because I didn't know if the book would be interesting enough for me to read so fast, but when I picked up this book, I read over half of it in one day! This book was such a good read. The twists and turns it takes towards the end of the book is phenomenal. The characters turn out to be the people you wouldn't expect them to be. The book was so real and very explanatory, it explained everything down to a tee, and the sex scenes make you want to read then over and over again just to make sure you a'int miss anything. I would have given this book a five, but I didn't because sometimes the book took too long to get to the point but overall it was sooooo good. You have to read this book it is so good.

Review: When I first heard about this book from a friend, I thought that she was addicted to something else other then sex. But when I started reading it, I couldn't start. I read that book in two days. There was something about Zoe that made me wanna know more. It was one the best books I have ever read. This is a must have for those who haven't read it.

Review: ...and that doesn't happen very often. I understand why the author goes only by 'Zane' - I wouldn't put my name on this book either. 'Addicted' is just plain bad in every way imaginable. The writing is high school-level, the story is unbelievable, the characters are one-dimensional (actually, that's giving them a little too much credit!) and the sex scenes are curiously tepid. But what finally made me toss this book in the yard sale box with a 'take me, I'm free' sticker was the incredibly poorly-written dialogue. The author has no ear for the rhythm of the spoken word. The conversations sound stilted, as though they were translated from a foreign language. And I HATE, HATE, HATE it when authors write in dialect. And when people use all caps... But I digress. Zoe is supposed to be a successful businesswoman, but she talks like a none-too-bright teenager with a sadly limited vocabulary. Some favorite words: 'uummmm' 'kewl' 'sistah' 'trippin' and 'mad,' as in 'we gonna be mad late.' My hands-down favorite quote from 'Addicted' is this line spoken by Quinton to Zoe: "I want to paint you and hang it over my bed so when you are here, we can make love underneath your splendor, and when we are apart, I can behold your beauty and satisfy myself just by the mere thought of you." Does ANYONE anywhere really talk this way? Or am I just not a kewl sistah? If a man said that to me, I wouldn't know whether to laugh out loud or run screaming from the room. I'm amazed this book was chosen as a selection by any book clubs other than the Danielle-Steele-Is-Too-Hard-To-Read-Club. And as for the reviewers who say 'this is the best book I ever read,' well, I gotta wonder how many books are on those lists..... If you're looking for a good read, you have thousands of choices better than this right here on Amazon. And if you're only thinking of buying this book for the 'racy' parts, I recommend Penthouse Forum instead. It's great literature compared to this garbage and it's a heckuva lot cheaper. And if you still can't live without this book, hey, watch the newspaper - My yard sale's coming up!
