Summary: Zane really did it with this one!
Review: I think this is one of Zane's better books, i read this book twice, i love how she starts from when Zoe and Jason was little kids. This book made me have many emotions, at times i wanted to cry, laught, or smile. The characters in this book just seemed SO real, i would give this book 10 stars if i could.

Summary: This was my first read by Zane, and now i'm "Addicted"
Review: This is a must read. This book offered everything that I wasnt used to getting in 1 package. Sex, Mystery, Suspense, it had it all and was sooo good. It also had a good story line. I am definitely a Zane fan Now and will not stop until I read all of her books. Harris and Dickey are my boys, but this female has definitely put a new spin on African American fiction and im loving it.

Review: I heard of the author Zane through different black magazines that had her book on their best sellers lists, and this sister is all that. I read Addicted in 2 days. The book was the bomb!!! I've recommened it to a couple of friends and they loved it. Keep up the good work.

Review: I would definately recommened this one for the ladies but its a good book for anyone. All i have to say is that Zane is the best. There is no writer like this women. She does excellent things with words and makes the story come so alive. I have read all her books and they are all so original and can be realated to things. Zoe character in the book is the bomb. Once you start thinking she's had enough and she's gonna quit she goes right bac out and gets herself in more drama. The book was overall a GREAT GREAT GREAT book. Go out and get it if you dont have it already it's worth every penny. GO ZANE!!!!

Review: This book is not worth the hype. I don't know why the author called the book addicted.It doesn't seem like she's addicted to sex she just wants satisfaction.The first part of the book talks about how Zoe met her corny husband, and is extra boring. There is nothing appealing about Zoe to make the reader believe that someone could become obsessed with her.I wanted Zoe and her punk husband to get killed in the end but the author choose a happier ending.

Review: One of the best books I've read, this book held my interest from start to finish! I couldn't put it down. After reading this book you can't help but become a fan of Zane's. I loved it, and all my friends loved it too!

Summary: The book you have to read!
Review: My sister gave me the book to read after she had finished reading it and I thought it was something else. It only took me seven hours to read and I enjoyed every minute of it, despite the fact that character of Zoe pissed me off when she decided to cheat on any womans dream man. Ok, so he had a little bit of a problem in the begining with pleasing her in the sexual department. All she had to do was talk to him about it. Communication works! Whatever the case the book was a wonderful read and I love Zane's sense of humor!

Review: I couldn't put this book down. I don't really read much, but this book grabbed my attention. It was recommended to me, by my sister and I thank her so much that. I felt the drama, when the main character got into certain situations. I cried when I needed to cry. I was angry when I needed to be angry. Your emotions are taken over by the characters and you can't help but put yourself in their shoes and wonder what is going to happen next. This was a very good book.

Summary: Whatever happened to good writing?
Review: If you are looking for a well-written, suspenseful book with realistic characters and a well thought out plot, THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR YOU! I purchased this book upon reading about it in Essence Magazine. I guess I should rethink reading Essence now. But I am not going to go there. This book was horrible! I gave it two stars - one for effort and the other because Zane has inspiried me. I have always wanted to be a writer and I can appreciate while the job looks easy, it is not. But if Zane can write books that people buy, I think I can write one to. If she can make money off something this bad, there is hope for aspiring writers. Where is the quality? It sure isn't here. For one, Zoe acted "ghetto." She had no taste and no manners. She was not real to me. Zane totaled bumbled on her research involving sexual addiction. There was also poor character development. I can appreciate the beginning of the book on how Jason and Zoe met and in fact, I did laugh some at the beginning. But the book went downhill from there. Perhaps Zane should have researched sexual addition, talked to a few psychotherapists. I though the title and the cover was better than the book. It goes to show that you can take garbage and dress it up in a good package that sells. Readers are getting shortchanged. I bet third graders could come up with a story better than this ... with good character development, a plot and good dialogue. This book missed the mark big time.

Summary: That's what it was - Addicted
Review: I love this book. I read Addicted by candlelight during Hurricane Isabel. This book tells how a woman can become addicted to something without thinking about the consequences until it is too late. Zoe learned that the hard way. She has relations with 3 people outside her marriage that almost distroyed her happy home.
When I thought the book was going one way, it did a u-turn and took you any way. It also make you do a double take and say, "Did I just miss something?". That's the type of books I like. Zane keep up the good work. I addicted to your writing.
