Rating: Summary: More of a Thriller! Review: I was very thrown by the book's tite because it is about sexual addiction but for the first 100 pages It was a sweet story of the meeting of her husband. I really enjoyed it becase I ended up crying a few times having gone through the same thing. Then It really dove into her sexual addiction which my mouth was open and gasping for air the whole time--THE THINGS THAT WOMEN DID!The last 75 Pages scared me, I won't say anymore than that it suprised me to the fullest! I am so impressed, I'm on here really to buy more of ZANE's Books!
Rating: Summary: Did I read the same book as everybody else??? Review: DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SKIP THIS ONE. I found this book to be very disappointing. The writing was elementary at best. Any eighth grader could've written this! There were inconsistencies in the character's physical discriptions. Also, the use of the most vulgar and unimaginative terms to describe sex organs and sex acts grew old quickly. There's talking dirty and then there's just dirty talk--which is a complete waste of words on a page and doesn't fly as expression (at least not in my book). Also, why go into so much depth with Zoe's relationships with Tyson and Quinton but totally omit escapades with Diamond? It seemed as if the author was trying to cram every possible scenario in the book and then tidy up all the loose ends in less than five pages. I would have liked to have seen a better exploration of what sex means between two people who have such different viewpoints on it as Zoe and Jason. The author also really gave no insight into the true dynamic between Zoe and Jason--I got so sick of reading "I love Jason with all my heart!". I found a lot of the dialogue truly superficial and lacking.
Rating: Summary: Not Satisfied Review: My cousin is in a book club and at the time her book Club was reading Addicted. She raved so much about the book that I just had to read it. Well I must admit Addicted was one of the best books that I had read in a long time. The book to you through a couples relationship as children, to their coming of age and then to being a married couple with children. But it was a lack of commuincation in the marriage that got me, because alot of married couples go through that especially when the topics are of sex and money, but I do believe that it is harder to talk about what satisfies you sexually, when your partner chooses not to listen and feels ashame when the subject comes up. Even though Zoe the female character in the book did try to speak with her husband about her concerns about the situation her husband ingored her (like all men do), fate set in and took her down another path. She discovered alot things about herself as a woman and was able to explore her true desires as a woman in need of more sexual satisfaction in her marriage. But unlike a man she did not lose sight of what was truly important to her and she did seek help for her disease. It almost cost her everything, but it was also the thing that made her marriage stronger in the end. I am just glad that it had a happy ending, but with the commuincation was there at the start of the marriage then this might of never happen. This book is a must read book.
Rating: Summary: DA BOMB! Review: This book stands to its title. Da BOMB! I would recommend this book to any and everybody. Not too many people have heard of Zane, so when I tell them about this book, they look down on it... until they read it. I would put this on one of my high recommendations next to The Coldest Winter.
Rating: Summary: Sisters of Succes: Addicted to Zane!! Review: Zane's novel earned 5 stars from our book club Sisters of Success. The club thought Zane kept us on our toes with several memorable plot twist. This novel also had a way with pushing our buttons when it came to those steamy erotic sex scene's. Several members had to put this novel down and find their significant other throughout their reading. We found this read so great we plan on finishing up the rest of Zane's novels.
Rating: Summary: Sheer Enjoyment Review: This is one of the best books that I have ever read. I read this book within 2 days because I simply couldn't put it down. My intentions were to read the last 100 pages the following day, but instead I ended up staying up until 4:30 in morning finishing it.
Rating: Summary: Definate Page Turner Review: This book is a definate page turner! You wont be able to put it down and you'll never get bored. There are so many twist and turns that you just might get dizzy. This book may even allow you to re-evaluate yourself, you may begin to ask yourself, "Am I addicted too?" Zane has definately made a book that is interesting, slick and a perfect mind boggler!!!
Rating: Summary: AMAZING!!! Review: I read this book in four consecutive days, and I didn't think twice about reading it again. It is a great book, full of suspense. With great details and graphic explanations, the main character, Zoe, makes you feel as if you've known her all your life. By the end of the book, I was so amazed by what I had read. This book is worth buying. Every page adds a new twist to the story line. A definite must buy.
Rating: Summary: Don't End! Review: Don't end is what you will be screaming when you see this book is about to end. Really, it was that good. This is the first time I picked up a book by Zane and I'm not disappointed one bit. The title grabbed you and the plot reeled you. It was very fast paced and interesting. You will be on the end of your seat wanting to know what happened next. One word describes the regret that plague the main characters and it's "If". If... Jason had only listened to Zoe. If...Jason had only talked to Zoe about his premature exposure to sex. Zoe may not have engaged in her crazy azz behaviors. Not saying she's innocent, but she was a victim of circumstances beyond her control on all ends. I will say no more. Just this, run don't walk to get your copy of "Addicted" Its fabulous.
Rating: Summary: This is real! Review: This book was the truth and I could fully relate. I would never do the things that were listed but I understood the characters dilema entirely. Zane is a great writer and the twist and turns that she sent her character through proved how good she is. I really enjoyed this book and I couldn't put it down once I got started. I especially loved how she took you through the sex scenes as if you were actually living it. This was a romance as well as a thriller and it kept my attention throughout.
