Summary: Great Book to Read!
Review: I brought this book and it was so hard to put it down! I read this book over a two day period! A little slow in the middle but it picks up and turns out to be one that I would recommend for the best seller list!

Enjoy if you purchase it!

Summary: Addiction Management
Review: Great book. Great book. I'm glad I read it. I was not going to read this book, because I don't like long erotic stories. I didn't think I could handle an erotic novel because after a while it wouldn't be believable, just silly, hopping from bed to bed like in porno movies and those books by anonymous written in the 19th Century. But Zane made the story interesting enough that I didn't have to just skip to the sex scenes. It was not a great plot, to be honest, but enough to make you want to know mnore about the characters and not just skip through to the dirty parts. I would have given it five stars, but the ending was rushed, just when the PLOT was starting to get interesting with the serial killings and everything; and the other problem was that the lesbian scenes with Diamond were skipped. What's that all about? That would really have been interesting. I want to know how Zoe got through that, how it started, what she liked, what she didn't like. It was not fair to skip it, really.

Summary: Overwhelmingly Addictive
Review: Addicted is not only the title of this book, but also what you will be if you ever pick it up. Mainly because you feel as though you're fly on the wall in the life of Zoe (the main character). You are constantly wondering what this "busy" woman could possibly do next. Never having read anything by Zane, I was truly impressed. Zane uses her remarkable writing skills to provide us with a book that is "off the chain". Addicted is very unpredictable and keeps your attention from beginning to end. Caution: this book has some very steamy parts so be prepared!

Summary: EXCELLENT BOOK!!!!
Review: I heard all the hype on how good this book was, so I just had to go out and buy it, and see for myself, and I'm glad I did, this book was off the hook 4real! It was defiantly a page turner. I couldn't put it down I was so eager to see why she was addicted to sex. The author really did her thing when she wrote this book. I loved it and I hope Zane turns it into a movie cuz I will defiantly be one of the first ones in line to see it. I recommend EVERBODY get the book " Addicted" by Zane because it's truly a classic.

Summary: Praise the Lord, it's not always that bad....
Review: This book was the 2nd book chosen by our book club. All I can say is wow. It had a taste of every thing not that its good or bad, don't get me wrong. I feel this was self help also in a since if someone is/was going through something that was listed they would hopefully see that they needed help. Like a wake up call to those saying "don't wait until its too late to seek help"

We will be discussing the Book at my place June 1st. I came up with some questions to start us off before I finished the book.!! what an ending. I didn't go into the book here becasue I might give something away. There is I guess you could say a triangle in a rectangle.

Summary: No Profound Ideologies but a Racy Summer Read!!!
Review: ... yes, it's not exactly a Pulitzer Prize Winning Great Work of Literature. The plot is a little predictable at times and sometimes you want to curse out the protagonist. But yet, it is impossible to stop reading! Its like one of those songs you can't stand but know all of the words to. Its suspenseful, erotic and fast-paced. Everyone I know who's read it could not put it down. A fabulous read for a day at the beach or a lazy afternoon indoors. Addicted is a truly addictive book.

Summary: A Rewarding Read
Review: This is a story first, erotica second. It moves like an express train on greased tracks. You will be hooked from beginning to end, you will be licking your tongue and your lover over the sex scenes, especially that scene with Tyson when his ex-girlfriend knocks on the door and they are in the middle of taking the "Unconventional" road to the temple of Venus. My major problem with the book were the missing scenes with Diamond, which are only implied, and of course, as another reviewer noted, the rushed ending.

Summary: What addiction??
Review: Although this was an easy read and had an interesting story line, the title is misleading. The author just did not convey that this "addiction" manifested itself into Zoe's life. Did the author do any research on addiction, to sex or anything else for that matter? I wouldn't say that masturbating and sleeping around on her husband because he does not satisfy her constitutes a sex addiction. Zoe appeared to be a sexually repressed and frustrated woman who decided to explore some other avenues and thus suffered some unusual conseuqences.

I also failed to see the erotica in the sex scenes. They were more like a description from a porn flick invoking cheap images and just nasty not sexy. There was little intimacy described between partners and none of the characters' sexuality, preferences, hang-ups etc. were really explored in depth.

This book was definetly over promoted. If you are looking to read a story that is unbelievable but enterntaining, this will do. But it definetly does little to address the complex issues of addiction.

Summary: ADDICTED TO PROBLEMS
Review: In ADICTED, we're confronted with rarely discussed female sexual addition and adultery. What a different subject and a fresh point of view!

This is the story of one woman with a serious addiction problem, spilling it all out to her psychiatrist. She delves into her past, her relationship with her husband, and just how she came to be ADDICTED. This book also looks at some of the possible negative outcomes for one involved in adulterous behavior.

As I neared the end of ADDICTED, the reading became more intense and I found it harder to put down. Zane writes erotica well, but she may be an even better mystery and suspense writer.

Overall, this was a good book. I found some of the dialogue juvenile. The reason for addiction did not seem realistic. Also, while there may have been some times when use of profanity made a point, there were too many times when it was overused.
