Summary: It's Not About Sex
Review: I really did enjoy this book. As with others, I had heard so much about the book that I was just dying to get my hands on it. It was presented to me by others as a very sexual story woth no plot. While the story was sexual, it did have a plot and a very deep and intense stroy line. It's not about sex, but about life, love, tradegy and triumph over our situations and life. Read the book, don't take anyone else's word for it. I read it in one day.

Summary: OFF THE CHART
Review: This book was off the chart for real. It was well written, and it keep you on the edge of your seat. This book is a must read.

Summary: Addicted to Zane!
Review: I loved Zane's Sex Chronicles books, which is why I'd looked forward to reading one of her novels. And she did not disappoint me! Addicted is one of the cleverest erotic thrillers I have ever read!

Zoe Reynard has it all: a successful career, a loving husband and three wonderful children. But something threatens Zoe's ordered life -- her overpowering sex addiction. With the help of her therapist, Zoe analyzes her childhood and the slow progression to the addiction that's driven her to be unfaithful to her husband. What if her husband finds out? Will she ever live a normal life, or will her dangerous liaisons ruin her life? The ending will floor you.

Zane has created a cluster of memorable characters and interesting subplots. She describes the heroine's growing pains with vibrant clarity. Her writing -- though the slang words and overuse of exclamation marks were a little distracting -- is sharp, witty and insightful. Zane hasn't disappointed me and I look forward to reading more of her work.

Summary: Funny and suspenseful
Review: Zane did a great job of keeping the reader in suspense throughout this novel. I appreciated how she slowly brought certain facts to light, as they became more and more important to the plot. I liked the look back into the childhood experiences of Zoe and her husband, which painted the picture of their marriage and just how much she was risking with her extra-marital affairs.

It was interesting to get into the mental and emotional part of the husband-wife relationship. A lot of people have been in the situation where a person is perfect for you but they don't satisfy you sexually. People don't like to touch that topic... or maybe they can't elaborate on it as well as Zane has.

I also found the childhood scenes to be very funny and entertaining, while the adult scenes were properly dramatic. This book is drama at its juiciest and a sure bet to get the reader Addicted to Zane's work.

Summary: Leave Good Enough Alone!
Review: I read Addicted in one day, and if I'm on track to reading something in one day that means it was good. And it was up until the end. The story was near perfect until the last couple of chapters. I was so upset. It had enough drama, and twists, and murders without adding more. It just took away from the book big time. I couldn't believe that after having revealed that Zoe almost got raped twice as a child on two seperate occassions that the author would turn around and Actuallyl let her get raped as an adult, and in front of her husband no less. I also found it hard to believe that she was attacked by all those people. There is a such thing as TOO MUCH drama. Some things could have just been left out is all I'm saying. To bad she had to mess with a good thing. Zane, sometimes, you should just leave well enough alone.

Summary: Left me guessing every turn of the page....
Review: "Addicted" was probably the best book that I myself have read in a long time. It was excited and thrilling and I was just itching to jump a page ahead because I couldn't take the suspense any longer. I am only 16 and I was recommended this book by a good friend. I thought for sure I wouldn't like it because it was about a nymphomaniac but I loved it. I thought it was all about sex but I came to find that this book is a story about life. It shows how to cope with the mistakes you made in the past and teaches you how far being strong can get you. She learns a life lesson in this books that is essential in any everyday life. I would recommened this book for anyone. It was most defiantly a page turner...~

Summary: DISGUSTED!! Those with intelligence stay away!
Review: This was absolute garbage. I read page after page of the same thing. I thought it would never end. The final thirty pages are in a word... bizarre. The author has a complete lack of intelligent imagination. I would venture to say this is the worst thing I have ever read. The plot, the story...EVERYTHING was done poorly. Unless you enjoy nonsensical trash, do not waste your time.

Summary: HOOKED
Review: I am a reader from Brooklyn. Ever since I was young I used to read a lot of books but no book ever caught my eyes like the book Addicted. Zane is the author of this book. I recommend this book to all the teenagers that find reading fundamental. The reason I like this book is because Zane did a good job with her descriptive narrative techniques. Once I ran into the conflict, I was so involved in the book that I didn't want to stop reading. This book was about a girl name Zoe Reynard who was trying to find the pleasure she wants and the way she wants it, if you know what I mean. In this case Zoe is in a risky position of losing her husband and her family all because of the addiction to sex. Zoe is a woman desperately searching for fulfillment and something darker, deeper, and perhaps deadly .The author Zane has managed to pen a novel that expertly portrays both romantic and earthly love and does more than simple justice to each.

Summary: My Addiction with Addicted
Review: The book Addicted was one of the best books I have ever read in my life, and I have read quite a lot of books. The reason I love this book so much is that it has that fairytale feel with the realistic flair. Everything seems perfect on the outside but she has her own issues. It is all about this woman named Zoe who is addicted to sex but is not satisfied with the sex in her relationship with her husband. She is married to the guy she has known all her life and she doesn't want to lose him. Because of her sexual addiction she is afraid of what might happen if anyone finds out. So she seeks professional help to try and overcome her sexual appetite. Everything unravels like a sick fairytale but you will have to read this book to know what I am talking about.

Summary: Awful Just Plain Awful
Review: This book was awful just plain awful. This is probably why Oprah quit picking books for her book club. It was poorly written and executed. It was just ridiculous at the end. Every other page there was one ridiculous scenario after another. I am starting to think that Zane is a man. The erotica if you can call it that was callous and not even sexy. AWFUL - Avoid at all costs
