Review: When my boyfriend first came home and handed me this book, I didn't know what to think. I remember the night clearly. I was sitting there with a bowl of cookies and cream ice cream. Well, I started reading and not only did the ice cream melt but so did I. This book is HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! I had never read any erotica but I love me some erotica now. At least, Zane's erotica. After I finished The Sex Chronicles, I went out and bought a couple of other erotica books and they were laughable compared to this one. They need to get Zane to help them make their books more interesting. For real though.

Summary: The Sister's Imagination Just Won't Quit!
Review: I have never been big on erotica. At least, not until now. I have read several of those so-called "Best Erotica" books and they were drab and totally boring. Some of them I struggled to get through and others I simply tossed aside. Now a writer has finally come onto the scene that knows what erotica is all about. The characters in Zane's stories are so vivid and wonderfully crafted that you can actually start relating to them in the 10-12 pages you get to spend with them in their individual stories. The wild part is that Zane's stories are so different from one another while the anthologies containing several different authors all sound redundant. Most of all, Zane has made me realize that I am normal and I am relieved to know that other women think just like I do. This book is not for the prudish and sexually-repressed. If you want to read the hottest book of the year, The Sex Chronicles is definitely it.

Summary: This book tells all!
Review: As a man in his mid-fifties that has lived, and is living a full life...I can attest to the myths that Zane has shattered in this book. If this book was written many years ago, it would have prevented me from losing out on a host of erotic opportunities in my early adult life. I had to learn the hard way...through experience. I have been an avid reader of Zane's stories for over a year now, and I can truthfully say that she is the most talented writer of the erotica that I have ever came across. In SHATTERING THE MYTH, she has brought out the truth of the passionate side of a woman...a side that, if a man was aware of, would have peaked the sexual experiences of any of his relationships. I consider this book highly valuable to ANY woman, but also to ANY man who reads it.

Summary: Bedtime Inspirational
Review: This is definitely not a book for everyone ! In fact I would say it is for the matured adult and if you are easy to offend this is not the book for you ! Some of the characters can be realistic and sometime you will even be amazed at what they do ! Yes ! I will say Zane is a very talented author that leaves nothing to the imagination ! Reading this book has opened my eyes to somethings that I could never have imagined ! This is a collection of short stories not to be read at any time ! I found myself saving this books for bedtime reading ! It made me certainly appreciate being married ! I needed a highlighter and a pen while reading this book ! While I could only read one story at a time ,I use the highlighter to hightlight the stories on the contents page showing I have read it ! I used the pen to put a *for the stories I will read again ! I have not found many African American Erotica authors and I can see why ! Zane you are at the top ! You go girl ! If you think you can handle the challenge do so It has taken me 4 months to read this book ! No it was not a bad read in the since you might think ! It was a HOT one ! I will put the caution sign up again ....can be explicit no, will be expliciting told !

Review: The erotic stories in The Sex Chronicles are tastefully done and draw upon real situations involving real characters. I was truly impressed with Zane's writing style and I would suggest this book to anyone. I look foward to her next book.

Summary: This book is da bomb!
Review: I finished the book in less than 4 days - a record for me! Zane goes deep - if you can't handle the title, don't go any further! The woman delivers a bird's eye view of a Black woman - if not every woman's - fantasies. As a man, I welcome the book because if I understand what they want, I'm better able to deliver. The book is written from a woman's point of view and is extremely well written. I love that some stories introduce you to certain themes, which are further explored in others. I know a bunch of women - and men who could benefit from this one!

Summary: Congratulations are in order!
Review: As a long time fan of Zane's work, and an AOL buddy, I knew I was going to have a quality read. I received the book in December, and have suggested to my closest friends and female family members to pick it up. It is important for women (especially women of color), to have a release. We have so many hangs up about life in general, let alone our sexual life. Zane's book provided us, (her readers) with a WIDE range of characters who had very unique personalities. It was almost as if the girl had multiple personalities when she wrote it. (just kidding) I will be suggesting this book to my male friends next. I am going to buy a couple copies for my wedding shower. What better way to get the girls talking about thoughts and experiences that are so natural? You tell me. Love Ya Zane. Summary: Finally, I found something for which I can really relate
Review: This book is probably the best erotic book I have ever read because it is so realistic. The characters are believable and at times just down right over the edge. I have been a fan of Zane since her stories started circulating on the net. She is a talented writer and I can't wait to read her next book. Keep up the good work Zane and I wish you all the best. Summary: Reading for grown ups
Review: If you are tired of reading pseudo erotica or over the top stories that never happen to anyone then this is the book for you. I've been reading Zane's stories for years and the reason I have always loved them is because they either sound like something I could have done, would have done or plan on doing. This book is a must have.
