Review: The book The Sex Chronicles is a book that is only for the open-minded people of America. If you are a person who is into old-fashioned sex, this book is not for you. But for people who love sex and are always looking for new ideas, then this is the book!!!! Zane takes you from a housewife who wants her husband to experiment more to a college freshman who loves to have sex with different men. Reading this book, I found a lot of the things mentioned in the book were things that I had already tried but it was still a great book. Zane's style of writing has a definite patent on it. It can't be copied. Don't hesitate to buy this book!!! Ladies, your man will love you more!!!

Review: I had no clue what this book was about, but I knew it had to be good because it is written by Zane. When I started reading the book in the book store all I could think was 'WOW'.
Zane did a very good job of putting these stories together to make them very erotic and sexy. This book showed me that women can definetly have fun with sex and be out there just like men are. At times the book got really hot and heavy. Whew.
I suggest that everyone picks up this book. It doesn't matter how old you are and if you're married or not. The book is universal, No Doubt.

Review: When I first got this book and read it I could not put it down. It made me very aroused and I had to calm myself down (men know what I mean). This sista is telling sistas that it is alright to be open with their sexuality, and desire more than one man at a time. Many non-black women I overhear speaking envy the bodies of African-American women. That means the hips, the legs, and of course the Black Woman's Trademark, That Fat [Rear]!! Sistas, your bodies are the most beautiful pieces of artwork in the world. Do not let men or women make you ashamed of it or to share it with whomever you desire to share it with.

Review: The Sex Chronicles is a book which promises erotic short stories featuring African Americans that will knock your socks off... and presumably the rest of your clothing as well. But I found it riding the edge of boredom. None of the stories were any more "erotic" than your standard Harlequin Romance. And, in fact, were substantially LESS "erotic" than the new Harlequin "Blaze" series of books. If you are single, I'd pass on this one. Or perhaps get it to have on the book shelf for those times after you've eaten 2 chili dogs and must spend lots of time in the bathroom. lol... But if you are part of a couple, I view this book as a nice addition to your collection. It's a good one to "jump start" you and your mate talking intimately about sex, fantasies and desires. Perhaps give you ideas or set the stage for amour. But take heed; the author seems OVERLY infactuated with the idea of breaking up homes and sleeping with men who aren't available. And being an old-fashioned, southern girl with high moral values, I just can't find the eroticism in stealing someone else's love. 2 stars is being VERY generous.

Review: If I wanted a cheap thrill I could have rented a ... movie for $3.00. I read Addicted by Zane and I have to be honest I was expecting the same page turner with the Sex Chronicles. All I ended up with was a bad taste in my mouth (there are only so many ways you can digest this before literally just wanting to regurgitate). The stories are repetitious and basically it's the same sex with different people on different pages. This is one she should have kept for her own personal collection and not have me waste my .... I am not saying that I will never buy another book by this author. I will be certain to read the inside flap before I go inside my wallet again.
