Review: I was at a convention and different authors told me that I had to read this book. The first chapter took me by suprise. This book is hot!!! I couldn't believe the words that were printed on the page! It's definitely a good book with a lot of ...detail. Each chapter consist of different short stories... I have loaned this book out to my friends and encouraged them to read it also.

Review: I will never again buy a book by Zane. The writing was poor, and the stories were not creative. I was let down. Out of the 40 short stories, I enjoyed about three of them. I do commend her for writing about Black Eroticism so boldly, but she needs a new editor - at the least.

Review: Okay, let me start off by saying that I am not a prude, but I was more than a little disappointed when I read this book. I think my disapointment might be due to the fact that I had heard so much hype about the book. Friends telling me "Girl, read this book when your with you man because it's HOT!" Yes some of the stories are very hot, but some of the aren't. The opening story, to me, is the best one in the book. I think every woman in the world would love for her first time with a new lover to me with a man like the one described in the story. But the story about the woman, her lover, and a turkey leg is just down right tacky. I expect to see that kind of story in Penthouse Letters right next to a letter about sex with amputees. Oh, and the whole sexual sorority thing, that was a let down too. If this book has been hyped up to you, then read it with low expectations. If this is your first time reading erotica then this is a good beginner book.

Review: I finally finished reading the Sex Chronicles and it was "off the hook" as Zane would say. Maybe one of the most sexually free books I've ever read. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Review: I have much respect for Zane but I have to admit...yikes...I wasn't at all impressed with this book. Somehow it reminded me more of amateur porn than good erotica. This is the first book I've read by Zane and I guess I expected her to be more imaginative. I returned the book...not for me. I must give her due credit though, she surely does shatter the myth.

Review: I bought Shame on it all and The Sex Chronicles at the same time. I read Shame on it all first so I had an idea about the writers style. However, I have to say that I was disappointed with The Sex Chronicles. I'm usually pretty open minded about books and try to read a variety of styles and I constantly seek out new authors. Sex Chronicles was raunchy and predictable. The stories were more suited for the Playboy magazine instead of a book. I was very disappointed and gave the book away.

Review: This is the first book by Zane that I have read and I must say that she is not as imaginative as I expected. After reading the first story "First Night", I almost put the book down because I was neither impressed with the writing style nor the sex descriptions. They were both so ordinary! I hoped it would get better as I continued reading, but after the fourth story, the sex descriptions became overly repetitious and the supporting imagery did not help much. I must say that my imaginations are a lot more fun & creative. I was not impressed with the book at all and I have returned it.

Review: There are no words to describe this book. If you are a person who is not into a book the has erotic info, don't touch this book, you might hurt yourself and/or someone else. This book is off the chart, wall and everywhere else. To ALL you woman with companions, your man will LOVE for you to read this book. This books really gets you worked up (make sure your air conditioner is on) with each chapter you read. I loved how she broke this book up into all the many chapters and took you to different locations. Zane has a very open minded imagination & I would like to thank her for sharing. This book could really teach you something as far as being sexually spontaneous ladies. Treat your companions to some of the knowledge you have learned in this book & I guarantee they will appreciate it very much.

I'm still looking for this club and the sorority so I can find out how to pledge. SMILE...(You'll see what I mean after you read the book).

Summary: Mesmerized
Review: The author is totally amazing and just her imagination alone is unbelieveable. I picked this book up after my niece left it accidentially and I picked it up and that was all she wrote. The book is something I've never read before but thoroughly enjoyed. Not only am I taking a trip to Jamaica in September, and I will be putting to practice some of what I read. My guy companion is going to be surprised as well as pleased. Zane's imagination and writing is off the hook - can't wait for your next one.
