Review: Just like everyone else, I was hearing the hype about Zane. I was expecting some mind-blowing, erotic material, but all it ended up being vulgar, trashy and downright disgusting. Let me put it to you like this. I'm a 20 year old female virgin and I KNOW I could write better erotica/trash than this. I'm all for supporting black authors, but Zane deserves to be shot. Her stories are redundant, lack character development, and she goes beyond slang...she makes up her own words!!! Black people, just because a blak person wrote it, doesn't mean it's any good. If you want a good read, don't sell yourselves short with this crap!!

Review: Ok, SO this book was good, I must admit some stories were very similar and some ridiculous but for the most part this book was alright. I wouldn't read it again some stories might worth reenacting, so I'll keep it around.

Review: Ever since I read "Addicted", Zane is on the top of my list of authors who tell it like it really is and does it well. I just could not put this one down either! But Sex Chronicles....WOW! is all I can say. I am not afraid of letting my sexual desires out. Whether you need to bring the spice back into your life or you want ideas on taking pleasure to another level, this book is DEFINATELY for you! Very quick and hard to put down read. I enjoyed every story. The stories ranged from traditional to not-so-traditional to damn that's hot!. I recommend this book to anyone with sexual fantasies and/or looking to take their sex life to another level. Don't be afraid..."IT'S ALL GOOD"!!!!! I'm already looking for another Zane to get into.

Review: this book was the second book i read from zane. Overall, it was good and kept my attention and gave me a chance to explore her other books by the short stories. Sometimes, I caught myself wondering if i had just read this story because they all have the same love tactics or scenes. I would definately recommend this book to one of my girlfriends. This book will make you hotter than you wanna get and turn a relationship into a platinum trophy.

Review: Ok, several friends raved about this book so I decided to borrow it. As I read the disclamer that basically states "the book is too hot for your a$$ then put it down". Then I read the acknowledgements and the mere statements the the author himself believes his work is "not for the weak hearted" or "if you don't like my work why are you reading it." Those statements alone made me think Zane better bring it own if he's talking trash.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The book is laughable. After continuous four stories reading do'em, suck'em, f**k'em, lick'em and screw'em. Not only were the stories repetative they were down right boring, lacked imagination and creativity. The sad thing is that I could hang but was so bored with the characters and plots that I couldn't turn another page and went to sleep. Because it lacked interest I returned the book to my friend the next day.

Basically, don't waste your money on this book, borrow it from someone and return it.

Review: I think that the existence of this book is evidence that anyone can publish a book and that more women need to be writing erotica.

I have read better erotic stories in chat rooms. I was hoping to read articulate, well-drafted, passion-evoking stories and ended up reading bad English, misused words and boring, trite stories.

I challenge the publishers of Zane's books to locate female writers like me, and many others, that can actually boil readers from the inside with decent English and a colorful, broad vocabulary.

Women need to write more, read more and explore more of their sexuality. This book is not the way to start. I am appalled by the number of people that find this work stimulating.

Ladies, write you own passion. Be creative and honest.

I picked this up when I would be away from the comforts of home for a week. It was just what I wanted - literate, luscious, and lusty. It's erotica that I can really enjoy, the kind that's mostly about people enjoying each other all out, in every way a body can please a body, own or others'. There's not much here for the fetish crowd, and almost every encounter centers on one man and one woman (from her point of view). Maybe that's not enough variety for some readers, but the endless variations work for me.

This is enjoyable, intelligent, and sexy, with extra flavor from Zane's brown sugar. I'm coming back for more.

If you are interested in short story erotica, you are better off reading the stories in Playboy. I was extremely disappointed in how juvenile this book was worded and the repetitiveness of immature lingo.
