Summary: Erotica, Tastefully Done
Review: I have been one of those fortunate to catch some of Zane's stories on the web. This body of work however, The Sex Chronicles, by far surpasses anything I've read from her to date. It is def. much wilder and delivers on its promise of being "of da hook." Not only that, but in mostly all of the stories, she paints a picture so vivid, that you could actually get consumed into the story, feeling you are actually a part of the action. I was also impressed with the realism of the stories, being able to identify because I've either been involved in similar situations, or knew of someone who was. I can't leave without commenting on the other promise that this book fulfills- "Shattering the Myths." After reading I can say that my personal myths were shattered about the sensuality of women. Reading these stories brought forth an understanding that women are every bit the sexual beings we are, if only a little different. Excellent work. Zane. Erotica, tastefully Done.

Summary: Erotic and Highly Informative
Review: I've been a fan of Zane for a while now and haven't read anything written by her that I didn't like and this book is no exception. She has portrayed various types of women in highly erotic situations where before men were the ones featured as the sexual aggressors/initiators and the ones that carried out their fantasies, not so here. The whole scope of her book, contained not only erotic scenarios but the thoughts these women had before and after their encounters, thoughts that we as women have, whether they are spoken out loud or not. Zane's book was not only entertaining but highly informative for those of us thinking about recreating some of her escapades on our own. Personally, I enjoyed her storylines that help us to "see" these women and in some instances "feel" what they were feeling. A very down-to-earth, steamy read and believable to boot. Her women were, loving, romantic, and caring. Some threw caution to the wind, or a good girl being "bad", or a down and dirty wild chile. Regardless, all of them kept a *smile* on my face or had me laughing out loud at their daring and libidinous antics. I loved it and recommend it to women and men alike. Whoever said women aren't as lustful as men haven't read THIS book!

Summary: I Feel Like A New Man
Review: I am so glad I read this book. No, scratch that. I am so glad a book like this is finally on the market because I have been waiting on it for a long time. I first started reading Zane's stories a year or so ago and they intrigued me from day one. The book went beyond that. Every story is the bomb diggity. If a man like me, that hardly ever reads anything other than sports magazines and work-related material, is reading books again then it is a miracle. If you are looking for something interesting to read, look no further because The Sex Chronicles is it.

Summary: Myths Definitely Shattered!
Review: As a male, I am always always interested to learn how women really feel about a variety of erotic and sexual topics. Reading your book Zane has granted me a virtual day pass to this one time taboo world, and helped me realize that women are every bit the sexual beings that we are, if just a little different. You do a wonderful job of painting a picture so vivid and creating scenes so palpable, that you actually feel like you are in the room participating too (or wish you were). I also appreciate the realism of your stories, as I came away thinking, damn I was in a situation similar to that! Keep up the good work Zane, and I look forward to reading future works from you.

Summary: Shocking But Right On Point
Review: I had never heard of Zane before my boyfriend bought me this book but I must say that The Sex Chronicles is wonderfully written and devilishly entertaining. At first, I assumed I wouldn't be able to get into the book since I am more of a novel person as opposed to short stories. However, after the first couple of stories I was hooked. I could visualize all of the characters, I could feel their emotions and I could relate to a lot of the situations. The characters range from funny to serious, from shy to extremely uninhibited, but they are all "real". They reminded me of my friends and family members. Some of them even reminded me of myself. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that is looking for something "different" to read. This book is right on time!

Review: Erotic and sensuous can best describe Zane's work. She is witty and very straighforward. Zane takes you through all that you have either experienced or fantasized about experiencing. She knows that the joys and happiness of love-making are not one-dimensional, but indeed very versatile. Her characters will captivate your mind and take you through endless stimulating sexual encounters. This book is a must read for both the experienced and the curiosly inexperienced.

Summary: Could it possibly get any better than this? I think not!
Review: I have never posted a review before on Amazon or anywhere else for that matter, but I just had to comment about this book. I knew Zane had a wild imagination but I didn't know the sista could take it to such a deep level. The Sex Chronicles was ten times what I expected it to be and then some. All of the stories are the bomb! Zane is the bomb! I am planning on giving this book out for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Groundhog Day and every other occasion I can think of. All of my friends are going to love me for life when I hook them up with a copy. I don't want to give anything away but let me just say this. The book will stimulate you, entice you and sometimes even freak you out. I learned a lot about myself reading this book and I also learned that I am normal when it comes to my sexual desires. Before Zane came along, I thought something was seriously wrong with me. As for you Zane, please, please, please write something else just as clever. I'll be waiting! You've got a big time fan in me!

Summary: Sensuality at it's best!
Review: While not the biggest fan of erotica in the past, having read a few of the other erotica books on the market only to be left disappointed, I felt compelled to read The Sex Chronicles: Shattering the Myth because I have become a huge fan of Zane through her newsletters over the past two years. The other erotic writers out there only scratch the surface. Zane takes erotic fiction to an entirely different level. Her characters are vibrant, the situations are real and the stories are sensual. Some of the stories were so engaging that I could barely sit in my seat without squirming and others were so funny that I couldn't control my laughter. Every last one of the stories stirred something inside of me and I have never had a book do that to me before. The sister is truly talented and I would encourage anyone, no matter what your sex or race, to pick this book up with a quickness. Zane is destined for greatness and I can't wait to see what she writes next.

Summary: As much as I love Zane, this did not work for me
Review: As much as I love and read Zane books, everything is not for every one and this was not for me. I could not finish this book, It was like reading a hard core porn movie script, thus being spared actually seeing the corny stories and bad acting on film. to each its own, this didn't work for me. I still love Zane and will buy her books.
