Summary: The most entertaining book I have ever read!
Review: I cannot CANNOT!!! wait until the next installment in the series hits the shelf. This book had everything - non-stop action, hilarious dialogue, FOUR romances, and some very hot situations. I loved Wildcard - in the other books he's been seen as a complete screwup, not as the romantic hero of the story. I won't spoil it for anyone by giving away the storyline - but I don't think we have seen the last of Sam and Lys. I have to believe that Sam and Alyssa will get their Happy Ever After. (Hopefully in the next book - please Ms. Brockmann!) I loved the unexpected Molly/Jones story. If you want to read a book that will keep you up all night, this is it. Enjoy! Does anyone know when the next book will be released?

Summary: Humor and Adventure
Review: This was the first Brockmann book I read. I got hooked on them and have read the series on Team 16, including the very latest Sam/Alyssa. Ken Karmody is a teddy bear just waiting to be hugged! I love the thoughts he has when he meets Savannah, they kept me in stitches. I know guys like him, in fact I married one. He's not a SEAL, but funny, smart and goofy a lot of time, just like Kenny. Savannah is a great character, too. I like that Ms. Brockmann has made her human, not a spoiled little rich girl. She proves to be strong and is the perfect foil for the male hero. I wish she had gone into more detail about the meeting with her mother and father and their reactions to Ken. Maybe at the end of the series, she will write another book and bring us up to date on all of the characters, giving each couple enough space to fill in their lives after they met. .

All in all, a good read, just as the rest of her books are.

Summary: My favorite by Suzanne Brockmann
Review: "Out of Control" was the first book by Suzanne Brockmann that I ever read, and I was hooked. The book has it all: drama, suspense, and not one, but three great love stories. Also, as I read (and re-read) this book, there were several times where I laughed out loud because the characters (especially Kenny Karmody and Jones) said some incredibly funny things. I think my favorite thing about this book and all of Suzanne Brockmann's novels is that you really get to know the characters because she takes you inside their head so that you know exactly what they are thinking and feeling. By the end of the book, you feel as if these fictional characters are real people and you want to know what happens to them after their adventure is over.

I highly recommend this book and all of Suzanne's other SEAL stories. You won't be disappointed!

Summary: Out of Control: The Molly and Jones story
Review: Yep, I thought this book was about Molly and Jones. I loved their story and thought it more superior than the main characters. Brockmann's books are just too busy for me and I read this one based on a recommendation. It turned out to be better than Brockmann's previous Troubleshooters books. I still love and enjoy rereading Heart Throb. Her best book in most humble opinion and also, The Admiral's Bride despite the leer factor that usually is a huge part of her Brockmann's stories.

Anyway, I look forward to reading more of Brockmann sans SEALs one day in the future. Glad to see that Brockmann has finally arrived and is such a hit with readers. I wish her continued success with this series and I will always be on the look out for more of her original stories.
My over all grade of this book is: B-

Summary: Did anyone else notice?
Review: I slogged through this book just wanting to see how the author would end the all too many story lines. Some of it was interesting. But I had a difficult time believing anything in the story after the mistake in chapter 4. Earlier the characters Ken and Savannah discuss (at Ken's house) the fact that he was a SEAL. He even accuses Savannah of being a "SEAL groupie". Then in chapter 4 Savannah "slips" and says he is a SEAl, and he gets mad! What was up with that? Am I the only one who noticed? Ms. Brockman needs to slow down a bit, not have so many story lines and try to keep her own story straight. This was one of the worst books I've ever wasted a weekend trip with!

Summary: Romantic Times Review
Review: When the ransom demand for her Uncle Alex came, Savannah von Hopf didn't hesitate; she gathered the money and made her preparations. Savannah realizes that heading down to Indonesia by herself would be foolhardy, so she decides to get some backup.

Ken "WildCard" Karmody can't believe his luck when the beautiful woman's car breaks down right outside his house. The chemistry between Savannah and Ken is electric, but he is more than pissed when he discovers what she's after. When he can't stop Savannah from flying to Parwati Island, Ken reluctantly tags along.

FBI Agent Max Bhagat is handed a major hot potato when Alex von Hopf, the son of legendary WWII spy Rose von Hopf, is kidnapped. His task is further complicated when it is learned that SEAL Team member "WildCard" Karmody and Savannah have disappeared in Indonesia. Have they been captured, or worse, killed? The rest of the SEAL Team 16 has no doubt that, if there is a way out, "WildCard" will find it.

Continuing her action-packed series outlining the adventures of the SEAL Team 16, Suzanne Brockmann delivers major excitement. As in her previous novels, Ms. Brockmann weaves together at least four different story threads into one rip-roaring if slightly plot-heavy book. (Mar., 416 pp., $6.99)

Summary: It's all Suzanne Brockmann's fault!
Review: I nearly fell asleep in an important meeting today and it's all Suzanne Brockmann's fault. I was up until 2AM reading "Out of Control" and I just couldn't seem to find a good place to stop.

One of the things I love about the award-winning television drama "24" is the concurrent stories, the intensity, and the complex, well-drawn characters. Suzanne Brockmann's "Out of Control" is the same type of ride. This is not just an action book, not simply a romance, not merely an adventure story. It is, in fact, a story so complex, so intense that you're not only fascinated with WildCard and Savannh's journey but you feel like you've become a part of it.

From their first connection, through Jakarta, and into the jungles of Indonesia you know this is a voyage and a relationship that you won't soon forget. Add to that a grandmother who was a WWII double-agent and you've got a book with such emotional impact that you simply cannot put it down.

A wonderful, keep-you-up-all-night read, a gripping story, and a tale of selfless courage. Just what we need in these uncertain times. Thank-you, Ms. Brockmann for a great read. However, next time I'll know to begin a Brockmann book only on the weekend.

Summary: It gets better and better
Review: book four was a page turner. i prefer to read books in order if they are in a series so if ur the same way then start w/ the unsung hero, the defiant hero (my personal fave), and over the edge which are all great books. out of control starts off strong and doesn't slow down. Ken was a cool hero (although my heart belongs to Starrett) and Savannah was hilirous. high maintance turns into tarzans jane, sort of. i love how the author can have three or four different stories going on, but i need to quit skipping through looking for more on Sam and Alyssa, then coming back and reading. i can't wait for muldoons story and more of Sam and Alyssa. if u haven't tried Ms Brockmann u don't know what ur missing. and if u love her also try Linda Howard.

Summary: weak
Review: The book started on a good note, seemingly fast paced but then fell off in the middle. My biggest problem with the book was how weak Ken was. He kept refering to himself as a loser. Come on now I don't want to be reading a book with a "loser" hero!

I liked the Molly/Jones story and would love to find out what happened once Jones went to Africa.
