Summary: Little Spitefire....
Review: That's what Felicity (Flick)is. She's young but doesn't let anyone push her around. She wasn't stupid or dimwitted. She was very knowledgeable. Stephanie has a great talent for love scenes and making her characters seem real. You just truely fall in love with them. Demon was of course nobody's fool. What Cynster is? Don't miss this book in the Cynster series you will not be disappointed.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: I was disappointed and even a bit bored by this book.
Review: The first book in the Cynster series, Devil's Bride, was the best. The Romance was strong and while the secondary story was interesting, it didn't overshadow the love story. Unfortunately, each successive book seems to diminish in quality. I found A Rogues Proposal to have flat characters, a polt that overshadowed the romance with a mystery that seemed to never end. To make matters worse, Ms. Laurens' usually fantastic and frequent sex scenes were missing. I was hoping this book would be similar to Captain Jack's Woman, with a woman pretending to be a boy, but it lacked spontaneity of plot and the in depth charaterizations of the hero and heroine that Captain Jack's Woman had. I wish Ms. Laurens better luck next time.

Summary: Wonderful..Well worth it to read!
Review: This is another story in the "Bar Cynster" series. In this story, Harold Henry Cynster, better known as Demon, decides to retreat to his racing farm far away from society and matchmaking mama's. When he arrives, he's suprised to find a new stable 'boy' who is just a little too shapely in the right places to be a jockey. Relieved to finally figure that the 'boy' is no boy at all, but Felicity Parteger, Demon demands that she stop playing the part of male and stick to being female. Felicity is then forced to tell him of a racing syndicate that is bribing jockeys and that someone that they both know is invloved and is now in hiding for his life. Demon agrees to help her on one condition, that she stay at home and lets him handle everything. Of course for an independent woman, this is out of the question, so they form a sort of 'partnership' that eventually turns into seduction. But when Demon asks her to marry him, she refuses; and then starts another battle of wills that will keep you glued to the pages.

Stephanie Laurens knows how to write Regency like no other. All of the books in the "Bar Cynster" series are well written and captivating. The characters are thought out and developed to such a degree, that they will seem real to every reader.

Read them all, you'll be very glad that you did!

Summary: Enjoyable
Review: This is the 4th book in the Bar Cynster series. This is Demon(Harry)'s story. Demon is the younger brother of Vane, book #2.

Demon has, like all the other Cynster's vowed that he will never marry. He has fled to his country estate where he soon finds himself spellbound by a fiesty chit of a girl named Flick aka Felicity. Now he has know Flick for years but has always thought of her as a young girl who he could tease. Now he finds a young woman with a beauty that steals his breath. He also finds trouble is brewing. Flick's older brother is in trouble and its ups to Demon and Flick to get him out of it.

Flick is a tomboy. She can ride like no one else and knows horses better that Demon does. She realizes that she needs Demon's help but she doesn't have to like it. But underneath the tomboy ways is a young woman who's heart goes all a flutter when Demon walks in the room. She is madly attracted to him but is knows that he will never see her as anything more than a friend. She wants his love but is afraid she will never have it.

I enjoyed this book but found it to be a bit different than the others in the series. There was passion and love but I just didn't get into these two characters they way I have in previous books. I would still recommend this book but I have to say that out of the series so far its not one of my favorites.

Summary: A Rogue's Proposal
Review: This is the fourth book in Stephanie Laurens' wildly popular Bar Cynster series. The Bar Cynster is the informal name given in the family to the six, extremely handsome cousins. The Bar Cynster members are known for their way with the ladies and their strong aversion to being tied down. But three members have already succumbed to matrimony (See, Devil's Bride, A Rake's Vow and Scandal's Bride), and Harry Demon Cynster is determined not to be the next victim. So he leaves the whirl of parties of London society, and heads off to his stables at Newmarket. But there he finds Felicity Pargeter, a beautiful, independent and innocent young lady, ward of his next door neighbor, masquerading as one of his stable boys. Intrigued, he corners her and demands an explanation. Felicity (or Flick as she is called) is investigating a race-fixing syndicate. Demon offers to help, and then their hearts dance together. Love is never smooth, they risk their lives while tracking the syndicate.

With the passion and sensuality as her trademark, Laurens builds a story which is highly romantic, charming, witty and passionate. I can't wait to read more of her stories. She really know what she writes!

Summary: I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! THE CYNSTERS ARE AMAZING!!!!
Review: This story was great! The Cynsters are so amazing I wish they were real!! The plot was good and the characters were great. The age difference between Flick and Demon adds spice and excitement to the story. The characters are well-developed and so much fun to read about! Stephanie is one of the best writers out there! Read this book now, Stephanie truly has a gift, you won't be sorry! Next thing you know, you'll be sitting down and writing a review on one of your new favorite books.

Summary: Lost in interest towards the end
Review: Thought the book started out great, but once they went to London, it got veeerrrry slow. Could hardly bring myself to finish it. I thought Devil's Bride and A Rogue's Proposal were much better.
