Summary: Worth the wait
Review: After reading "Bad Boys Online", I could not wait for Erin's next book to come out.. and I was not disappointed. Her style of writing is engaging and witty and I fell in love with Reese and Derek as they stumbled along trying not to fall in love. Smart Mouth was laugh out loud funny and the love scenes steamy..don't read this book without something cool to drink! This book was very hard to put down and definitely one I will enjoy reading again. Hurry up with the next one Erin!

Summary: Whatever...
Review: Derek is a FBI agent - and apparently a pretty bad one but I'll get back to that - and Reese is a low level reporter aspiring for better. It opens with a mix up over rental cars. Derek's source leaves evidence in one but tells him the wrong color (or he gets it wrong - don't worry, it doesn't matter) and Reese, of course gets the car he wants. He chases her down and eventually tracks her to her hotel room (after an improbable and not really funny scene where poor Derek is tackled by store clerks that Reese sets on him as she mistook him for a stalking maniac). After ditching him, she's at her hotel and has already discovered the evidence and taken pictures of it when he arrives. She is naked except for a robe and they are instantly hot for each other.
(...) The characters struggle to keep their relationshipship while also excelling at their respective jobs. The secondary characters are okay (liked his sister - even his ex-wife had a couple of interesting scenes - though his heart to heart with her seemed unrealistic as her character did not seem the sort to give up that sort of information) and Derek's two co-workers seem as if they're headed for their own romantic sequel. Reese's brothers also seemed to have book potential. Maybe a love interest for Derek's little sis?
My main problem with the book, I suppose, is that Derek seemed like a bumbling FBI guy. He had a bad knee! Why was he in the feild? That's not a thing that can be hidden in that type of profession. The wrong car, giving Reese information, having her involved... I don't know. It worked for the plot, but he came off as stupid at his job. And after a while it just made Reese look annoying. Was she trying to screw-up his career to excel at hers?
All in all - A beach or plane ride read. Lots of fluff and fun.

Summary: Fun, sexy read!
Review: Erin Mc Carthy is a treasure and I'm glad I discovered her writing. This book was so much fun. Following Reese & Derek on their sexy adventure was a blast and unexpectedly sweet. I can't wait to see what else this author comes up with.

Summary: Hysterical -- DO NOT Pass!! (notice I signed this review)
Review: Erin McCarthy's "Smart Mouth" is one of the funniest, hottest books I read in a long time. I loved Reese (Smart Mouth) and Derek!!
There was nothing "sophmoric" about this book!!!!

Keep up the good work -- your on my "auto-buy" list.

Summary: Fresh and fairly unique...not an easy feat.
Review: Fun. McCarthy gives us a smart, yet still marvelously human (and sometimes even impetuous) woman and a hot, capable man who still makes mistakes and makes it fun and witty...and hot.

Reese and Derek sizzle; and they are both determined and focused. Watching them lose, or maybe redirect, some of that focus is just fun.

Looking forward to more (enjoyed her foray in the bad boys series).

Summary: Great Book!!!!
Review: I loved this book by Erin McCarthy. It was fast moving and really kept my interest. I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Reese Hampton is a journalist and accidently finds evidence that FBI agent Derek Knight needs for a case and he wants it back. She knows she's onto a story and she isn't giving it up. The chemistry between these two are wonderful to watch unfold. This is an automatic keeper on my bookshelf. I have never been disappointed by anything Erin McCarthy writes. Another wonderful book.
