Summary: not the best
Review: Well, ths book was somewhat of a disappointment compared to the first in the series. Although it was an entertaining read, Roberts failed to create characters that lived. From the start of the book to the end, Shawn and Brenna remained as they had begun. The reader didn't feel like she really got insight into their minds. The first book in the series was more romantic and heartwarming. This book seemed flat and canned compared to the first.

Summary: The Magic of Ireland
Review: This second book, Tears of the Moon, in Nora Roberts' Irish Trilogy is every bit as wonderful as the first, Jewels of the Sun. The characters, of course, are the same but the focus has shifted to Brenna O'Toole that feisty handy-woman and Shawn Gallagher the dreamer song writer who works at the Gallaghers family-owned pub as the cook. The magical legend of the beautiful ghost that lives in the cottage Shawn now inhabits continues. But Shawn doesn't see her, Brenna does, and she receives a message from this beautiful ghost about Shawn's music. A message she doesn't fully understand. Shawn, however, meets and talks with Carrick, prince of the faeries, who gives him a pearl and some advice that Shawn decides he isn't going to take. When Brenna decides to take matters into her own hands and seduce Shawn, he is completely thrown by this development, even though he discovers his (previously unknown to him) passion for her. Shawn finally recognizes his musical talent and finds someone who is anxious to publish his work. The beautiful descriptions of Ireland in the book make you want to visit this enchanted place and maybe meet a faery there as well. The next, and last, book in the trilogy will focus on Darcy, the Gallagher's independent and beautiful sister. Eagerly awaiting "Heart of the Sea".

Summary: A Wonderful Entry
Review: I am hooked on this new series by Nora Roberts. Magical, touching, and at times hilarious, I really feel that I know these people. I can almost hear the music, taste the ale and see the ghosts. It is clear the author loves the Irish culture and people and it shows in this wonderful story. I can hardly wait for Heart of the Sea.

Summary: Rich, Earthy, and Irresistible!
Review: Friends since childhood, Mary Brenna O'Toole and Shawn Gallagher were of completely different minds. He, content with making music and cooking for the family owned and run pub. She with her tomboy ways. But secretly, Brenna has loved Shawn for years. And now it's time to do something about that attraction.

Shawn's Faerie Cottage is inhabited by a lovesick ghost who requires Shawn and Brenna to face and accept their love. And then there's Carrick, the Faerie Prince, who appears to Shawn. Carrick pines for his one true love, the Lady Gwen. But unless three residents of the cottage fall in love, he will be forever banished from the grounds, banished by the very spell he himself cast. Without Shawn and Brenna discovering their love, Carrick and Lady Gwen cannot hope to recapture theirs.

But Brenna's "make things happen" approach to life and Shawn's easygoing nature put them at odds. Can these two opposites find a common middle ground before it's too late for them?

Rich, earthy, and irresistible from the very first page, "Tears of the Moon" is magic no Irish legend or faerie can rival. Brenna has strength of character, and Shawn a quiet charm readers will be drawn to. Don't miss this, the second in Ms. Roberts' Irish Trilogy of the Gallagher siblings. Bravo, Ms. Roberts!

Summary: What have I been missing?
Review: I grabbed this book in an airport to read on the plane. It was the first Nora Roberts book I ever read. How sad is that! I am a big Mauve Binchy fan so I really didn't know what to expect as "Tears of the Moon" was set in Ireland. Well, it blew me away. I could do nothing else until I finished the book. I loved it!!! I can't get enough of the Gallagher family so I just hopped online to buy and read the first of this trilogy and I can't wait for "Heart of the Sea" to come out. Well, Nora, you have me hooked. I have a lot of catching up to do on all of your books.

Summary: I Love Nora Roberts Books!
Review: This book is the second book in the trilogy. I enjoyed the story as it continued and expanded the characters and the romance of Brenna. Set in Ireland, Roberts makes you feel as if you were sitting right there in the pub listening to the wonderful Irish music and observing these wonderful people and the lives they lead. If you are a Nora Roberts fan, you must read this one. If you haven't read Nora Roberts yet, this trilogy is a good place to start. (but start with Jewels of the Sun first). I can't wait for the last book in this wonderful trilogy.

Summary: Taken By Tears Of The Moon
Review: I highly recommend this wonderful book! I picked it up at the airport and haven't put it down. The characters of the story have a way of sticking with you and it's hard not to get involved as a reader. You are sent back in time in this novel, to a warm and cozy place with people you feel you know. The writer has a wonderful gift!

Summary: Better and Better
Review: After Jewels of the Sun, I just didn't think Nora Roberts would be able to get any better in this series. I'm happy to say I was wrong! Ms. Robers managed to recapture the spirit of the first book and yet still make the characters unique. It's less like reading a series than returning to visit old friends. I can't wait for the third book to see what the wonderful Ms. Roberts has in store for Darcy!

Summary: Delightfu and direct, this heroine was a hoot...
Review: I enjoyed the heroine's style in this book. She knows what she wants and goes for. But I equally enjoyed our hero's reaction to direct approach. The give and take between the two characters in this book is lots of fun.

Nora Robert's writing bumps up a notch for the trilogies. This book is a terrific example of why she's the best.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: SOFT AND PREDICTABLE
Review: Love the author, enjoyed the first book of this series, but thought this one was too predictable.
