Summary: Another can't miss by one of romance's best!
Review: I run out of words to describe Ms. Roberts books. I liked Jewels Of The Sun better but this book is still great! Brenna is original. Shawn is lovable and of course we keep up with the other characters we were first introduced to in the first. You could read this alone but I wouldn't recommend it, it's so much better if you read Jewels first. Enjoy! On to Heart Of The Sea!

Summary: Much Better Than The First One
Review: I am one of those people that always reads reviews, and rarely writes one. But on this book, I really felt like I should tell others that Tears of the Moon was much better than the first one (Jewels) in the series. The storyline was much more compelling, and the characters were a lot more interesting. That's not to say that the first book was bad, but this one was just a whole lot better, comparatively speaking. When you're done, you're left with a really nice feeling. Nora Roberts did a great job developing the two characters and the relationship that has developed and does develop between them. I would definitely recommend this book as a great read.

Summary: Tears of the Moon (Keep the tissue box handy)
Review: Nora Roberts does it again with another triology of brothers. Tears of the Moon shows the drawn line when two friends step over it and become lovers.

If you haven't read Rising Tides, I recommend you read after you finish this one. It also is the 2nd in a triology and like this book is about two friends who become lovers.

Review: The second work of the triology. So great! Ms. Roberts mixs all the aspects of a great love story, suspense and fairy tale. Easy, light reading with just a little heat.

Summary: Ireland
Review: The book 'Tears in the Moon' is second in the enchanting Irish trilogy. Shawn Gallagher has an amazing gift for composing music and writing songs that are as beautiful to the ears as he is easy on the eyes. Brenna O' Toole is a fiercely independant tomboy who has secretly harbored feelings for him that have blossomed into something more over the years...something she has yet to recognize and admit as being...love. They are childhood friends and have known each other since, well, forever. Brenna decides to make the first move; Ofcourse, Shawn is shocked..literally. The two are as different than the moon and the sun. But, ofcourse, when love plays a pivotal role, you can bet that anything is possible. You can expect to experience sparks, comedy, love, joys and sorrow with the pair of them. Ofcourse, the path together they take is going to decide the destiny of not only their love but a love lost hundreds of years ago to pride-Prince Carrick's and the fair Lady Gwen's. They now wait, wait, and wait, courtesy of the binding curse- till love meets love three times and accepts the gifts and words of love voiced from the heart and lips. "The characters in this book are very well developed. The book is one of the many in my view to be counted as great books through which I have come to be a fan of Ms. Nora Robers. Stories as such makes me wish and desire to visit Ireland personally and experience the magic of it all. I will be anxiously waiting for the third in the trilogy-'Heart of the Sea.'Ms.Nora Roberts, you have once again proven yourself."

Summary: A great follow up!
Review: I loved _Jewels of the Sun_ so much that I was glad to have _Tears of the Moon_ ready to read as soon as I put it down. Let me just tell you that if you are thinking about read these books, you'd better have both of them ready because once you start you won't want to stop! Nora Roberts has me in awe of her talent. The way she can transport the reader to the places she talks about is amazing! If your life is so busy you feel like you need to take a break, but don't have the time for a vacation, pick up _Tears of the Moon_ or _Jewels of the Sun_. You will be whisked away to Ireland and not want to come back. This book flows and pulses as if it were a real life. When you read it, it doesn't seem to be a book, but as if this was really happening right before your eyes. Brenna was wonderful. The way she took charge and went right out and did things was inspiring. She was quite a change from Jude who was so quiet and not sure of her own strength. Brenna is the kind of person that all women hope to have a little bit of her inside them. When you read about her antics, you will probably hope that someday you will have that kind of courage and strength if you don't have it already. And then there's Shawn. Who wouldn't fall in love with him? He's the kind of men we all hope to meet one day. The kind of man that will take a rainy gloomy day and turn it all around for you. He was so cute to read about. All the characters in this book became soooo real to the reader that I felt that if I met them on the street, I would have been able to carry on a conversation with them and know what they were talking about. And trust me, Nora Roberts' characters are the kind of people you would hope to meet on the street. I've just got to say again how much of Ireland is captured in this book. It's just full of it... the folklore, the scenery, the accent (oh my God, she writes with a brogue, I swear!), everything. When I was done with the book, I could close my eyes and picture the little village of Ardmore in my head. The sights, the smells, the sea... it was all there! Nora Roberts should be getting kick backs from Ireland, for I'm sure that ever since _Jewels of the Sun_ came out last November, women have been flocking there, hoping to find their own little Ardmore and a Shawn or Aidan for themselves. Ever since I was little, fariy tales have been a love of mine, and Nora Roberts back drop of the faery tradgedy of Gwen and Carrick makes for a lovlier story. So, if you want a vacation from all the stress that can come in life, sit back with a cup of tea and prepare to be taken away to Ireland! I'd highly recomend it to anyone who loves love and a beautiful land! Enjoy!

Summary: A great second installment!
Review: Since the last page of Jewels of the Sun I've been waiting for Tears of the Moon and now, I've marked the calendar for the release of Heart of the Sea. In Tears of the Moon, Ms. Roberts further introduces us to Brenna O'Toole and Shawn Gallagher (as has been said, in other reviews, you need to read the first book to fully appreciate all the characters!) Brenna is as good with a screw driver as Shawn is with a skillet. Shawn works at the family pub while Brenna works with her father. The two have been friends forever but it's something a little more for the VERY OUTSPOKEN Brenna. She lets Shawn in on her plans and he tries to resist her, but jealousy sits in and he soon comes around. Then she gives him some of his own medicine. She's hilarous and if you don't laugh out loud about the way she lets Shawn know how she feels about him, you skipped some pages! This is the second of true loves Carrick, the prince of fairies, works together with his magic in hopes to be reunited with his love whose ghost resides in Shawn's cottage. This is a wonderfully flowing book, in my opinion not as good as the first, but nevertheless keeping me anticipating the next book, which will focus on Shawn's younger sister, Darcy.

Summary: Accepting each other as they are
Review: Shawn Gallagher is happy with his life. He mans the kitchen in his family's pub, he indulges his heart in his music, and he revels in his relationships with friends and family alike. But when his lifelong friend, Brenna O'Toole, makes her interest in him all too clear, Shawn finds himself shaken out of his dreamy complacency only to find himself reciprocating her interest. Brenna O'Toole doesn't really have a need for a man in her life and her occupation, as a handy-woman, doesn't make it any easier for her to establish a relationship with one. Though she values her friendship with Shawn, Brenna finds herself contemplating a course of action when it comes to dealing with her long-abiding attraction for him. When the two begin to realize the depth of their love for each other, they find that their biggest conflict lies in accepting each other without exception.

Nora Roberts has written a wonderful tale of friends whose relationship expands to encompass love. Because both Brenna and Shawn have been friends for such a long time, there is already a sense of affection, admiration, and familiarity with each other that provides a good springboard for their story. Brenna, with her hard-edged practicality and Shawn, with his head in the clouds, would seem to be a thoroughly mismatched pair. But Roberts skillfully plumbs the depths of their longstanding friendship in order to develop their relationship. Though Brenna and Shawn's love for each other is at the heart of this novel, Roberts also touches upon Brenna's bond with her father and her relationship with the women in her family. There is also the entertaining narrative involving a bond that develops between the two men Brenna loves: Shawn and her father. This is a wonderful story which does continue the incorporation of Prince Carrick and Lady Gwen's story but also gives more insight into both of these tragic figures and the pride and haste which enforced upon them a long period of repentance.

Summary: "Brenna and Shawn"
Review: Tears of the Moon, second book of a trilogy, continues the lovely story that began in Nora Roberts book,Jewels of the Sun...(you really should read this one first as it will be a great asset in character development and storyline...and because it was so beautifully written and touching!)

This novel's main charaters are Shawn, a poet, musician and cook..handsome and Brenna, the town's fix-it queen. These two have grown up together and are now finding out what they mean to each other.

The story also continues the mystical and interesting undercurrent that was established in Jewels of the Sun...Carrick and Lady Gwen make their appearances and give guidance to the budding couple.

For the fans of Jewel of the Sun, this second book tells what is happening with Jude and Aiden. I can't wait until Heart of the Sea comes out to see how Darcy gets tamed by the American businessman!!! ouch!! Not forgetting...to see how it goes for Carrick and Lady Gwen!

Until Heart of the Sea,

Enjoy!
