Summary: Second only to the first! :>
Review: Nora Roberts second is certainly delightful; but different too from the first story. I could truly relate to the first story and wanted to be Jude. In the second story, I was content to see just what was going to happen. If you enjoyed the first; you'll find pleasure in this novel, but for a different reason.

Summary: The best of the three!
Review: This is by far the best of the three in the series, in my humble opnion. I enjoy the characters and the setting. How they feel about their new relationship is easy to understand, and they are not over dramatic and annoying. One of the better romantic fiction stories out there!

Summary: Absolutely wonderful!
Review: This second book in the trilogy is my favorite, although all three were such a pleasure to read. The story of Shawn and Brenna is full of humor, passion and charm, beautifully told by Nora. Prince Carrick and Lady Gwen are at their best and I enjoyed their interactions with Shawn and Brenna. I would highly recommend this series as some of Nora's best work yet, every page delightful.

Summary: a dreamer's delight!
Review: TEARS OF THE MOON is Nora Roberts second book in the breathtaking Jewel Series. Just as Jude Frances and Aidan Gallagher were the focus in JEWELS OF THE SUN, fiesty Brenna O'Toole and dreamer Shawn Gallagher are the ones to watch in this fun, romantic Irish tale. Shawn has known Brenna all his life and has always thought of her as a sister...well, tried to anyways. These two are never happier than when they are at odds with one another - a regular occurance, seeing as Brenna can never stand the way Shawn takes his time going about things...including their relationship. Finally accepting that Shawn will never be the one to initiate anything between them besides friendship, Brenna takes the matter into her own hands. Of course, Shawn being Shawn, is totally taken aback by her suggestion that he "scratch a certain itch" for her and this leads into one of the funniest cat-and-mouse games I've ever read! However, once the two begin to settle into the notion of their "new" relationship, they further complicate the matter by falling in love, though neither wants to admit it first for fear that the other won't repeat the same sentiment. Along the path towards happiness, they interact with Gwen and Carrick, as well as the rest of the Gallagher and O'Toole clan. Together, with some much needed guidance, Shawn and Brenna learn that love is the most powerful emotion of all.

Summary: Shawn Gallagher & Brenna O'Toole......Opposites Attract!!!
Review: In Tears Of The Moon Shawn Gallagher and Brenna O'Toole, lifelongfriends, find they have an attraction for one another. Both couldn'tbe more different. Shawn is a laid back cook for the family pub anddoesn't rush to do anything. On the other hand, Brenna is a feisty, always in a hurry "handy woman" who works with herfather. What makes Tears Of The Moon so great is the difference in theShawn and Brenna. Believe me, there is never a dull moment with thesetwo!! The story continues as both realize they are in love, butneither is ready to admit it, for fear they might jeopordize theirfrienship in the long run. As in the first of this Irish series,Jewels Of The Sun, we meet up with Lady Gwen and Carrick, both ghostsfrom centuries ago. Carrick placed a spell on his and Gwen's love longago. Now in order to break the spell, he has to match up three couplesand have them discover love. So of course, he has two down with oneleft. We can only guess that this will be Darcy Gallagher in the next, and last, book of the series! What a riot that should be!! Hopeeveryone enjoys Tears Of The Moon as much as I did, it is laugh outloud fun. No kidding!!

Summary: Nora's Making Magic Again
Review: Nora Roberts can write romance as can no one else. She is a master at describing people, places and things and has a way of making you feel you are right there, living alongside her characters. In Tears of the Moon, Brenna O'Toole is the perfect example of the proud Irish woman and the development of her love story with Shawn Gallagher is as fiery and magicical as any romance reader could want. Nora Roberts has that magic touch that brings the story alive for her readers. She's definitely a great romance writer, but her extraordinary storytelling ability really shines through when she writes about Ireland. I just ordered Heart of the Sea, the last book in her current Irish trilogy and can't wait for it to arrive. My dearest wish is that she write more books about Ireland and it's mystical faerie people. She does it so well.

Summary: Second book of new trilogy even better than the first!
Review: Shawn Gallagher lives in a magic world of song, straddling a world of magic and wonder with one foot, and the real world with the other. Brenna O'Toole lives with both feet firmly planted in reality. And the reality is, she wants Shawn...she always has. But if she goes after her dream of a relationship with him, will it spoil their friendship? Shawn and Brenna discover that sometimes magic and reality come together in a love that nothing can destroy...not even their bumbling!

The second book in Nora Roberts new Irish trilogy has me champing at the bit for the third!

Summary: A Surprising Favorite
Review: I tend to perfer historical romances, but Nora Roberts does such a wonderful job with this book, and its predecessor, you can't but help but fall in love with the characters. It has all the magic of a romance novel, the lust, anger, and surprising love, along with the comfort of characters. I would recommend reading the Jewel of the Sun first, as it too is a wonderful story and provides more background for the book. An excellent way to spend any evening.

Summary: Better than the first
Review: This sequel picks up where the last one left off and continues the humorous and heartwarming tale of the Gallagher family. I've told most of my friends who need a light book, rather than a college textbook, that they *must* read this series.

Sean and Brenna have a multi-faceted relationship that develops from friendship to love... You laugh, cry, hope and dream with them from the beginning.
