Summary: Brilliant second Gallagher book!
Review: Nora does not disappoint - this is the second story in the Gallagher siblings trilogy, wonderfully begun with Jewels of the Sun.

Here, Shawn Gallagher, the cook for the Gallagher pub, writes songs and idly lives with little thought to the future, or to his lifelong friend Brenna.

Brenna, however, has been giving thought to Shawn for a long time. In fact, she wants more then the friendship they've had all along and lets him know it, much to Shawn's shock.

Carrick, Prince of the Faeries, encourages Shawn in hopes that this romance will make it for the 2 out of 3 that he needs in order to get his own happy ending.

We get to revisit Aidan and Jude from Jewels of the Sun, and Shawn's sister Darcy, who is scheduled for her own romance in Heart of the Sea, the last Gallagher book.

I absolutely loved this book, reading a "sibling" book by Nora is just about the most fun there is. Her characters are well drawn, her heroines strong, her heroes nurturing. She's done it again!

Summary: Worth Waiting For!
Review: I have been reading Nora for about four years, and anxiously await each new novel she writes. "Tears of the Moon" has just become my new "read-over"...I've read it three times since I bought it!

We were introduced to Brenna and Shawn in "Jewels of the Sun",the first of the Gallagher trilogy, which was Jude Francis and Aidan's story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading "Jewels", but found myself liking Brenna O'Toole overall. I was thrilled to find out that her story would be next in line.

In "Tears of the Moon", Nora takes us back to Ardmore and the Irish way of life. Brenna O'Toole is the towns handyman, while Shawn runs the kitchen of the Gallagher pub. Once again, we are drawn into the mystical and magical world of Ireland, with Carrick, the Prince of Faeries doing his best to make sure that "Gallagher the second" finds true love to help break the spell Carrick put on himself and Lady Gwen. Brenna, who has always had a bit of a crush on Shawn, finds that she must battle her sister for his love...which can and will cause a few bumps along the way. Shawn still devotes most of his time to his music and begins to see Brenna as more than just a bothersome "little sister". However, when an American wishes to bring a theater into Ardmore, a path is laid for Brenna to encourage Shawn to sell his music...providing a captivating story of two stubborn Irish.

"Tears" is a heart-warming story of love and laughter, Nora-style. I found that I liked Brenna even more after her story, and hope to see more of her and Shawn in Darcy's story, "Heart of the Ocean". I anxiously await the release of the last of the Gallagher trilogy...

Summary: A Great Book - Best of the trilogy
Review: Tears of the Moon, is the second, and my favorite of the Gallaghers trilogy. It is about Shawn Gallagher and a life long friend of the families, Breena O'Toole. Breena has had a crush on Shawn for years, and finally decides to act upon it. The two of them have a great chemistry, and this book is always entertaining. A very good book, especially if you enjoyed Jewels of the Sun.

Review: Once again Nora Robert's has written another triology making us wish the book would never end.Shawn Gallagher is a dreamer, also a songwriter and works in his Irish pub,and he thinks of Brenna O Toole a his friend and nothing more until Lady Gwen resident ghost of his cottage and her former lover Garrick weave magic folklore and spellbinding dreams to bring the long lost souls to believe in love.I am glad to see Adain and Jude in this novel& can't wait for the 3rd series to see what happens to their sister Darcy. Ardmore is a place I wish was real so that i might go there and visit for I know I would feel at home there with the haunting myths and Irish folklore, too bad it isn't real but I can at least visit it Nora Robert's books where characters are so real you almost feel you can speak and touch them. Once again as with all her books this one is a keeper. If you love Nora Robert's you will love Tears of The Moon.

Summary: Tears of the Moon -- Excellent Series!
Review: This is the second book in the Gallaghers series in Ireland. Anyone who has any Irish blood in them will just enjoy the descriptions of the characters and scenery that are described in this story!

You can't put this book down once you start reading it. This story features the second Gallagher, Shawn, who is the musician, and cook at the pub, and his relationship with Brenna O'Toole. The story begins with Shawn who recently moves into the Fairy Cottage after Jude and Aidan's marriage. Brenna O'Toole is the fiesty, outspoken family friend of the Gallagher's. She has always had a crush for Shawn, and decides to do something about it in her own way. I won't tell you much - for it will spoil the suspense. Their relationship changes suddenly and Carrick, Prince of the Faeries is brought back into the storyline of Brenna and Shawn's relationship. You'll just have to read it to figure this one out!

The beauty of the Irish isle comes alive with the classic Nora Roberts writing style. As in Roberts past books - the Irish history is rich and colorful. A great book to curl up on the couch and enjoy. Heart of the Sea is the last of the series and I can't wait for it!

Summary: Another great read by Roberts
Review: This book hooked me from the first chapter. I immediately went out and bought this book and Heart of the Sea after reading Jewels of the Sun. In my opinion, this one was better than the first. I enjoyed the closeness and teasing Brenna and Shawn shared even in the beginning.

Brenna O'Toole has known Shawn Gallagher all her life. She has had feelings for him for years, yet he only sees her as a little sister. (He writes beautiful songs, so he has his head in the clouds half the day, and thus can't see what is in front of him). Brenna, being the straightforward woman that she is, decides the intiate the relationship herself. Suffice to say that what happens after she announces her intentions to Shawn is hilarious! They go through many obstacles that will leave you wanting more.

Also, there are visits from the characters from the first novel. Jude and Aiden come back to give advice to Shawn and Brenna. Their scenes are so touching. Also giving advice is Carrick, prince of the fairies. His story with Gwen runs through the trilogy, and I can't wait to see them finally together!

So go out and get this book. You won't regret it!

Summary: tears of the moon
Review: Tears of the moon is the second in another one of nora roberts irish trilogies...this series has to do with the Gallagher siblings:Aidan,Shawn, and Darcy. The first as well as the second revolve around the prince of faeries Carrick and his lady love Gwen. When Gwen refuses jewels as the profession of carricks love wanting words from his heart instead carrick curses them in a lovelorn spell that only can be broken when three pure of heart fall in love. with jewels of theSun you were introduced to the siblings and future hopefuls to break the spell.Aidan the oldest fell in love and married Jude Frances Murray who resided on fairy hill were gwens ghost is haunting. The second book Tear of the moon focuses more on character develpoment with Shawn Gallagher cook and talented musician now residing in the cottage on fairy hill passing his time writing beautiful lyrics that should be published but willing to sit back and go with the flow not making ripples of his own and firey tomeboy Mary Brenna O'Toole. It seems Brenna as the folks call her, has a special "yen " for shawn and after debating whether or not to act on it and tell confess her feelings she decides to tell all.Shawn at first is shocked and spurns her, and to make matters worse Brenna's younger sister Mary Kate has decided that Shawn should be hers...Throwing ole Carrick and Gwen into some very magical ways.Jude and Aidan i enjoyed more in this book and the subplot with the pub and the land around it being engaged into some profit making deal makes it all the more interesting...will Shawn get tired of playing the same cards, and see his songs are his real talent and Brenna is the girl he needs or will mary kate be the surprise and end up being the girl shawn wants.....read it and see.....

Summary: My Dream Pretty-Boy Irish-Dish Hero
Review: He's beautifull, he's sensitive, he's interesting,AND he believes in faries. What's not to love about Shawn? This georgous songwriting irish man and a "fire haired" tom-boy irish woman's interactions steamed up my apartent windows, while also trapping me in another fantastic tale of the farie magic in Ardmore(town where all takes place. The 2nd book in the Gallaghers trilogy is by far my favorite. I think the fact that Nora weaves a love spell around the two most unlikley characters TO fall in love is probably the most enticing factor of the book. The aura of Irish myth and farietale magic that surrounds the story makes it an interesting read. I think you'll love it. I know I loved it. And if you don't fall right along with Brenna in hopless love with Shawn then you must be too much of a cynic to read any more.(to the releif of loving fans like me!
