Summary: A Walk To Remember is a great book!
Review: I actually saw the movie before I read the book. I thought the movie was so great so I read the book and then I realized the book is 100 percent better than the movie. It's a book that you'll read page one to the very end. You'll grow to love all the characters that's how much engrossed in the book you'll get. The book was so believable in the entire novel. Nicholas Sparks is an incredible author. He described every little detail and he just wanted to make you read more and more. This book will result you in believing in miracles and true love. I'll never forget this book. I suggest this book to anyone--no matter how old you are. I'm thirteen years old but yet when I bought this book at the book store I was talking to a man working at the store who looked like he was in his forties. He was telling me how he read the book and loved it! So please no matter your age read it. It's wonderful.

Summary: Seems a little different
Review: I saw the movie before I read the book, and I have to say, although the character development in the movie is not as good (for obvious reasons, you don't expect a 3 hour movie, right?) but I feel that the movie was more realistic as compared to the book. Overall, it's still an inspiring story, something I can relate to when I first fell in love (she's still alive though).

Summary: Heartwarming, heartbreaking...
Review: I saw the movie (adaptation) of "A Walk to Remember" and really liked it, a very simple, down-to-earth, heartwarming, heartbreaking movie, a story that makes you want to be a better person, and be a small role in this bigger part of the world.

I was told the book was more interesting and it definitely IS! A lot, and I mean a lot of details were taken out of the movie context, and at times the "space and time" settings were not clear, after reading the book only did I understood what was really meant about "A Walk to Remember". The movie has done the book, the story injustice.

If you are feeling really down and out, try reading this book, it would make you feel better, that there is the thing call 'Love' in this world, in many forms than you can think of.

Summary: Youth to Remember
Review: Rarely is a book so well written that not only do the characters come alive, but the story takes the readers back to their own memories and reveries. Nicholas Sparks' "A Walk to Remember" does both of these quite convincibly. It is a touching and poignant tribute to his sister that passed away a few years ago.

The story revolves around Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan, two high school seniors in 1950s North Carolina. While Landon has the resources necessary to succeed in life, he lacks the same desire and faith as Jamie. After a tulmultous beginning of the school year, they slowly grow to learn more about each others' dreams and aspirations.

While Sparks novel can be a bit predictable at times, it is also touching and forces readers to reminisce about their teenage years, particularly their emotions. While Jamie remains an ardent believer in her faith, she is not above being a teenager with the angst and anxiety that comes along. Perhaps the most telling statement by her is her double meaning "I prayed for you (Landon)." "A Walk to Remember" will will remind readers of the nervous, flustering, pit-of-your-stomach feeling that they felt when they realized they were in the presence of someone special.

This is something every teenager and every teenager at heart should read.

Summary: Wish it was more books like this one
Review: I just love reading old fashion love stories, such as A Walk to Remember. Landon falls for Jamie, the shy chrisitan girl in her class. Jamie's nice ways charmed Landon, who have never throught he could fall for a girl like Jamie, but he falls hard. Everyone who loves old fashion love stories with values, this is the one for you, but be prepared to cry.

Summary: Puts a warm spot in you heart
Review: This book was that first book that i have read by Nicholas Sparks. Once you start it you cant put it down. The story is about 2 seventeen year old who try not to fall in love that go though trills. But i not going to give away what happends becaue then there would be no use in reading the book. If you are look for a christian base book that also has romance you will love this book.

Summary: A book you're sure to remember
Review: I bought this book before going to see the movie. So I could conpare the two, and I'd have a clue as to what's going on during the film. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. It's a very easy to follow book that I really enjoyed reading. It's a bitter-sweet love story. I've read this book several times, and I love it so much that I can actually sit down, and read it within a days time. I recommend this book if you enjoy reading about love.
