Rating: Summary: Take Me To THAT Jungle! Review: This was my first, but not last, Freehan book. It was sooo good I had double the hot flashes!! Her books keep you on the edge of your seat, and I was unable to put this book down. Quite a nice change from the usual romantic mystery novels. Highly recommend this author!!
Rating: Summary: Don't waste your money Review: This was one of the worst books I've ever read. One minute the heroine is gravely ill and the next she wakes up and is joking with the hero. The dialog jumped around. One minute they were strangers and the next they were speaking as if they had a long history with each other. The book started out with promise but within a couple of chapters I was skimming just to get through. NOT a keeper.
Rating: Summary: Hot and Sticky (in a good way) Review: Very descriptive. Easy to follow and blissfully lose yourself in the unique writing style through the duration of this book. Feehan paints a crystal clear portrait of the lives of the characters in this novel for all to see. As I read, I felt as if I were right there with them, seeing their every move as the words jumped from the book to create a richly colorful jungle setting, (complete with sounds) that thoroughly enveloped me with each turn of the page. I also am a fan of Feehan's Carpathians, however, when I first read the short story similar to this one in the anthology FANTASY, I knew I was going to love this latest work of hers. Christine Feehan is a master in her genre!
Rating: Summary: JAW ON FLOOR ! Reader from cleveland ohio Review: well i have to say that i am use to the nomral vampire and woman idea from Christine but this book broke a few things i did not know she would right about ... .changlings. i think she did a good job coming out of her comfort zone with the vampires and is now swinging or should i say climbing through the Amazon with the lost race in this book. for a new side of writing ... i like this one a lot. hell i put down Laurell K Hamilton for this book. it had to be something worth reading .
Rating: Summary: MUUAHAHAHAHAA! Review: When I heard the plot for this story, and the fact that it was by Feehan, I had to get it. I am a fan of her Dark series, and this book, though not of the Dark series, is perfect as well! 371 pages long, but not as long as it sounds, I finished it in a few days. ((Ooohhh! + there is a gorgeous pic of Rio! *droolz*)) NE WAYS: the story is slow, I think, in only one way ~ Rachael is way too darn stubborn to reveal why she is wanted dead and doesn't let it out until dang near the end. Other than that the story is really, really, REALLY GREAT! If I could I'd rate is 12*, but it can only go up to 5 *grr!* I would say much more about why I like the book, but I'd give away plot information, and I don't wanna be blabbering out the whole story unless you ask. So, basically, I luv this book, I wish she'd have a sequel- Drake, Joshua, or Elijah's story!!! ANYBODY! !!!Get it!! I LIKE MORE THAN I DO ANY OF THE 'DARK' BOOKS! THERE I SAID IT! MUUAHAHAHAHAA!
