Summary: Absolutely thrilling from beginning to end...
Review: All right guys, here's my opinion for what it's worth. I too am an author. So I have an extremely hard time reading other people's work. Because I have the nasty little habit of wanting to edit, critique and rip everything to shreds. I'll say this, I hate, hate, hate head hopping. For anybody not in the know that's when an author jumps from one characters head to another, so much so at times, that you lose track of who's saying what and why.

All that said however, her story was engaging. The reincarnation bits she threw in there, were exceptional. Although I'm a bit upset that she didn't delve deeper into that theme of the story. How exciting the concept of reincarnation and so much potential to highlight their 'past' lives, why they knew each other and what made them instantly have that powerful connection.

In order to like this story you have to seriously suspend disbelief, you have to love paranormal's and the fact that in Christine's world people can shapeshift with ease into a leopard. That a woman is smart enough to elude a drug lord, of all people, for weeks in the wilds of Asia. That her brother, who's a shapeshifter, wasn't capable of taking a 'pety' human down, considering that when he finally does it seems almost too easy.

This was a light, easy page turner, holding you on the edge of your seat, making your blood boil with the hot, sexy sex scenes, (some of the best I've ever read) and the hero is simply to die for. Rio is of course, a wounded, hero. Totally Alpha Male who wants nothing to do with a woman, until he meets the reincarnated lover of his past lives. The woman he's destined to love and protect. The plot was easy flowing, but what drew me most to this story was the beauty of her words and the deep, wonderful relationship shared by the hero/heroine.

Summary: Christine does it again!
Review: As the usual Feehan fan, I had to have this book the second it hit the shelves. Part of me was disappointed that it wasn't the next sexy, exciting Carpathian of her fantastic series. We all have to admit that we're addicted to these guys! So as a prelude to reading this book, get out of Carpathian mode and have a totally new set of expectations for Wild Rain. This isn't the first book Christine has written featuring the jungle creatures who have the amazing ability to transform into leopards so I was very curious as to how this one would play out.

To truly enjoy this book you have to immerse yourself into the jungle and Christine does a phenomenal job of drawing you into the steamy, hot, jungle. The main characters each had their own set of strengths and weaknesses. I especially loved that Rachel was one tough cookie who was totally out of her sheltered element and still managed to fearlessly take on a dangerous jungle as well as dangerous Rio! Rio's lonely existence had to pull on your heart strings and touch the souls of every day people who have been just as isolated and shunned by today's society as he was in the jungle.

I could go on and on, but I'll just end by saying GO BUY IT! Escape your normal day and venture out into Christine's jungle, full of mystery, danger, adventure and steamy l'amour!

Summary: EXCELLENT
Review: Buy it. Read it. You won't be disappointed!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Ms. Feehan wrote a similar short story in an anthology some time ago, but due to the word restrictions, could not do the storyline justice. Not so with this book. This book is excellent, on par with her dark series. I hope there will be many more books regarding these sexy jungle shape-shifters in the future.

Summary: WILD RAIN is Wildly Hot!!
Review: Christine Feehan has once again launched her readers into a world where anything can, and usually does, happen---with a nice, big dose of the sexy paranormal thrown in. Feehan fans and newcomers alike won't be able to help being enthralled by the lush setting of this book, the hunky hero, the sleek jaguars of the jungle, and a heroine who is too damn spunky to let a little matter of being hunted get her down. Definitely a winner!

Summary: Wild Passion
Review: Christine Feehan knows how to draw one in.

I have read all of her books to date.

One thing that she does very well is build her character and introduces new ones who usually have their story later on.

In Wild Rain we have two people who want to live in total isolation for different reasons. We are also again introduced to shape shifters.
Don't be surprised if later on Ms Feehan has a book that invloves these species with those of the Carpathians.
For example Bryon's lifemate is a descendant of such a species.

Rachel & Rio in this book are both strong characters.
I thought the plot could have been done a bit tighter in the fact that it seemed Rachel was not at all that kind. Then the fact that she kept a secret that I pretty much figured out already was a bit of a stretch.

You have two characters I believe we will see more of.
Drake who was in the first book of the series.
Rachel's brother whom I believe to be someone that needs his own book.

Summary: Tarzan + Cat People = Wild Read.
Review: Even though Rachael had faked her death and changed her name, the killers following her are determined. Even slipping into the rain forests of Indochina have not shaken there dogged pursuit. Exhausted, she stumbles upon a house and decides to rest. When Rio returns home, he believes that a killer is hiding there and he attacks. Quickly the mistaken identity is revealed and Rio is battling to save Rachael's life. While I am an indoors kind of person, I enjoyed the enchanted rain forest in which this story unfolds. Recommended.

Summary: A tolerable alpha male
Review: Finally! Finally Feehan doesn't have an alpha-male hero that you just want to strangle. If you normally force your way past Feehan's male characters in her Dark series, you will enjoy this book. Rio is much more tolerable than her normal heros.

Summary: Christine is leading us down new paths
Review: Forget about those vampire romances. Christine Feehan has delightfully decided to embark on new adventures. This time we have an opportunity to enjoy her talents as she takes on a wonderful love story set in the jungle. All the elements are there: intrigue, suspense, romance, and the ability to keep us glued to the story.

Summary: a great read!
Review: From the back of the book...

What had she done? With a new identity, a staged death, and a chance to flee the treachery that stalks her, Rachel has escaped from a faceless assassin. Now, thousands of miles from home, under the lush canopy of the rain forest, shes found sanctuary.

Whom can she trust? But as Rachel's past looms as oppressively as the heat of the forest, and as Rio unleashes the secret animal instincts that course through his blood, Rachel fears that her isolated haven has become an inescapable hell...

Summary: Sweet Book
Review: Having read all Feehans' other work, I found this book to be interesting & worth reading, but not a powerful as her others. The story line is something new, jungle, shape-shifting and super loyal characters. The depth is just not there.
