Summary: Cute....not thrilling....but decent
Review: "Weekend in Paris" was a cute book...I think that's the best word to describe it. If you are into the chick-lit thing, it's nothing you haven't read before. The love interest is sexy and romantic, and FRENCH, so I mean that adds another dimension to the book, but other than that, its your basic chick-lit book. I would definitely recommend the Shopaholic series or Bachelorette #1...they have a little bit of a twist to them, and are not your average chick-lit book like Weekend in Paris. This book also kind of leaves you slightly unsatisfied at the end if you are used to perfect happily ever afters.

Summary: Fast and unpredictable
Review: Adventures abound and in a short weekend, Molly learns a lot about herself and what she really wants. I was entertained by the unpredictable events as well as the character development that took place. The descriptions of being in a foreign place were also very good. It was a nice relief from the chick lit where you can guess the ending half way through the book.

Summary: Silly book with a cute cover and title...
Review: Being a Paris lover I was interested in the premise of the book thinking it would be a cute story. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The heroine is completely silly and I found myself rolling my eyes constantly at her flighty decisions. Wait for this one on a discount shelf!

Summary: A Parisian dream
Review: Fate brought this book to me while I was traveling through Roma to Paris on a grueling summer's day. I had the most amazing Parisian experience, which Sisman's characters mimic in "A Weekend in Paris." Sisman was able to capture my story, and I'm sure the story of many other dreamers traveling (or hoping to travel) the world. Though the book may be text heavy, it is well written and follows a true European pace. If you like Sisman's writing please check out "Just Friends." It's my favorite.

Summary: wonderful
Review: I am in love with Paris, I've been there twice, and I think Robyn Sisman captures Paris in its true romantic spirit!! I love the plot twists. Molly is truely a girl I would like to compare myself to. I loved this novel and I am anticipating a sequel (maybe a series??!!) I am so happy that this book can relate to so may people too, young or old, it's a great weekend read!

Summary: Great end to a great week!
Review: I bought this book at Shakespeare & Co. in Paris. I read the book on the 9 hour flight home from Paris and could not put it down. I absolutely loved Molly's adventures through the City of Lights. If you've been to Paris, this novel will most definitly take you back. It was great to relive some of the adventures I experienced during my trips to Paris through Molly's adventures, such as the rollerskaters and the Rodin museum. If you're a traveller, a romantic, or both, you'll love this book!!!

Review: I dont usually give reviews on books, but this book was one ofthe best books I've ever read. Im fourteen years old, and I could not only understand this book, but also it instantly became one of my favorites. I love the way that Molly stands up for herself. The only thing I wish happens with this book is a sequel. This book is awesome and is in my top five fav books. It is awesome. READ IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: A Fun Weekend Read!
Review: I found "Weekend in Paris" to be a fun light read that really falls into the new genre of "chick lit." This is the first time I've ever read anything by Ms. Sisman and I thought that she managed to perfectly combine French ideals as well as English ideals into a very clever read.

Molly Clearwater was a great character and I found her escapades to be fun. She was not a wishy-washy character but rather a strong person who was able to make the most of her weekend in Paris.

I do agree though with one former reviewer with the fact that I was also a little let down by the part of the storyline that revolved around her finally finding her father. I felt as if we were left hanging. Why bring it up if there was not going to be any follow through???? Other wise this was a light read and a fun way to pass the weekend.
