Rating: Summary: A great beginning... Review: I can't wait to read the next two installments! SEA SWEPT was sad, yet very entertaining. Nora Roberts wrote Cameron, Seth, and the rest of the characters wonderfully. I also like the sea and that also made it exciting, because this novel takes place on the Chesapeake Bay. I hope the next two are as good as this one. I'll definitely read more of Roberts :)
Rating: Summary: Sea Swept Review: This is one of the best books I've ever read. The Quinn brother's are the ultimate example of what a real man is. You acually begin to feel as though your with this family. This book would affect my moods. I laughed and I cryed. Nora Roberts is the best story teller ever.
Rating: Summary: Nora at the top of her game Review: This beginning part of the Cheasapeake Trilogy is, so far, my favorite book by Nora Roberts.Racing boat champion Cameron Quinn is called home just as he is about to bed a dazzling model. His adoptive father, Ray Quinn, is in an accident and is dying. Cameron races in time to say good-bye and to face reality along with brothers Philip and Ethan: there is a fourth Quinn boy, Seth, another stray taken in by Ray, who now needs the three very different men to work together. Anna Spinelli is Seth's caseworker, someone who has to make sure that his best interests and needs are met. Although a romance between a caseworker and the boy's brother, Cameron, is a major conflict of interest and a no-no in real life, their relationship is sizzling! This book was a great set up for the next two installments. I loved it!
Rating: Summary: Sea Swept Review: This is an excellent series! Not only is it entertaining and hot, but is full of surprises. Don't stop with just one book, read all three. You'll be sorry to see the story end. Too bad it couldn't go on like the MacGregor series. Fantastic! Can't say enough good things. Nora Roberts is my new best friend. Keep up the good work, and keep the series coming. :)
Rating: Summary: Wonderful! Review: I love this novel. The characters were finely drawn. I fell in love with Cameron and the others. The story is funny but it also has its poignant moments. I loved seeing Seth grow into the family and the chemistry between Cam and Anna was hot. There is no other way to put it. This is a must read.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful! Review: I received all three books as a Christmas gift and although I prefer Medieval and Historical romance, I couldn't put these books down until they were finished. 'Sea Swept' was the first Nora Roberts romance I've read and I can't help but think, "Where have I been!". You may be sure that I'll continue. I've found a new favorite! Because I read all three books together, without having to wait an agonizing time for the next to be published, they read as one continuous novel. House and family was put on hold. It'll be a long while before my husband will buy me books for a gift, especially if they're Nora Roberts'. He's probably glad he didn't get me the 'MacGregor Series'. Can't wait to get my hands on them!
Rating: Summary: Loved, loved, loved this book Review: Cameron is one of Nora Roberts' best leading men yet. Brooding, not exactly heroic, and full of the little flaws that every human has, he proves himself to be the man that every woman wants in her life! The kinship between the brothers was strong, even though the other brothers weren't too strongly written, but Cam's relationship with the young orphan Seth was beautiful. Not to mention that his romance with Anna was very realistic -- sweet but also fiery. A great start to the trilogy.
Rating: Summary: You'll be swept by the sea of luv! Review: Wow! Three brothers practically give up their lives to take care of their newest sibling when their father dies...and one by one the brothers take their turns finding luv in this wonderful beginning to a trilogy.
Rating: Summary: Better & Better Review: Nora Robert's has such a wealth of creativity in creating her many characters - it's stunning. I've loved all her trilogy books, the Dream series, the Ireland series - but I was totally captivated by this series. I loved the 3 "sons" and Seth and the conflict so cleverly written between Seth and the brothers, between the brothers themselves and the 4 of them and the outside world - including for a while Anna. Nora Roberts at her best. My usual pattern is that I read these as they come out, and then when the second and third are finally published I have to go back and read them in order. I'm never disappointed.
Rating: Summary: Worth the late hours to read...! Review: I am a literature snob. I only read books from the New York Times bestseller list, not from the Romance category. I was WRONG! This is not only a great story, tastefully erotic, thoroughly enjoyable, but it was very well written. Ms. Roberts has a way with words. The dialogue was so real. If felt as though she had crept into my kitchen at dinner time and stolen our conversation for her book. I am reading the next installment, 'Rising Tides' and so far, I'm just as engrossed. This is a wonder trilogy to start a new romance fan.
