Rating: Summary: The Wilde Family Is Back Review: The Wilde One by Janelle Denison is another sensual journey into the Wilde Family. Ashley St. Claire is tired of men only seeing her families' hotels not the real woman. Men have burned Ashley in the past so she decides on her 30th birthday to have a fling. After a hard day at work at his construction business, Scott Wilde decides to unwind at a local bar. He meets Ashley and she gets him to agree to be her birthday present. Scott cannot believe this exceptional woman has fallen into his path. She wants a no string, one night, no name affair. This night sets them both on fire and makes them both want for more. Scott has never felt like this before and is resolute to help Ashley see that they can turn this attraction into a promise of a lifetime. Ashley and Scott share more then a dazzling passion, they both have a connection that is rare. The Wilde Side has all the passion, wit and family that you expect form a Denison book.
Rating: Summary: Candy - Review: This book just sort of bored me. I couldn't understand either lead character - Ashley or Scott. He was WAY too understanding and she was way too mean.
The back story is she was burned by one of her previous boyfriends. Badly. Now she doesn't trust. Thing is that with the shady way she acts - not even telling Scott her exalted last name - he has serious reason not to trust her as well - especially as he has his own baggage from previous relationships. So why does he try so hard with her when she's not giving him anything?
It starts with her going to a bar looking for an annonymous one night stand and he agrees - believing of course that this is not a usual thing for her. Sweet - not realistic but this IS a romance novel. So... Whatever.
The good point was that there was a lot of points were the book could have fallen into cliches but didn't. There were no misunderstandings because the leads talked.
Probably never read it again - but didn't hate it. Scott was a nice fantasy.
Rating: Summary: Perfect.......but the end was so-so. Review: This was my first read by this author and I loved it. The Wilde boys are HOT and the first sex scene in the book captivated me. I think every woman can relate to wanting a bad boy.
My only complaint about the book was the ending. ~ (...)
That is why I gave it 4 stars, otherwise it would have definitely been 5. I couldn't put it down!
I would like to request more Wilde novels please!
