Summary: To all "Shopalic" fans
Review: I can't wait for her next Shopalics Series , 'Shopalics & Sisters'. I have read all her books. They are all so funny, great summer reading.
Can someone recommend me other books similar to Sophie Kinsella style? (I have already read Brigdet Jones Dairy)

Summary: Another Classic Shopaholic Story
Review: I loved the first two Shopaholic books, and it's no surprise that I loved this one, too. It's also laugh-out-loud funny and again, it was hard to put this book down. I finished it in record time. Now that my praise is known, I'll admit that I did take minor exceptions to some aspects of this book. Becky is a little older and is supposed to have "grown" as a person, but it's plain to see that while she is lovable and hard to dislike, she is in serious need of some professional psychological counseling (Luke too - he REALLY has some issues)! How many times did I want to shake Becky and say, "Just open your mouth and communicate with people!! It's really not that difficult!!" Does anyone agree? Also, her appalling lack of communication with Luke will HAVE to improve if they're going to have a successful marriage (which no doubt they will, after all). Alas, Becky always comes through in the end and pulls her chestnuts out of the fire... but I hope when Shopaholic and Sister is released (could this be Luke's half-sister Zoe Brandon??) later this year, that Ms. Kinsella doesn't put us through such agony again. We love Becky far to much!! Still a great read with a happy ending.

Summary: -----Becky's Further Adventures-----
Review: Ohhh, How I wish I could give it five stars. The only thing missing from this one is all the shopping. Although the author does transfer her erratic obsession of shopping to not being able to say no to anyone regarding her upcoming wedding.
True to form as always, our wonderful heroine, Becky, is once again, in another jam.
Great, great author. This stuff is so much fun reading!
Hats off to you, Ms. Sophie! :)
HUSBANDS/BEAUS: Treat your lady & get her this series! All women deserve such a sweet escape from reality! ;)

Summary: Shopaholic Ties the Knot...at what wedding?
Review: Shopaholic Ties the Knot, by Sophie Kinsella, is the story of Becky Bloomwood, and her fiancé, Luke Brandon getting married. Becky's southern-sweet parents immediately start planning and organizing the wedding, but little do they know that Luke's rich, manipulative mother, Elinor, is hosting a wedding of her own. Everything gets blown out of proportion when Becky wants to go to Elinor's wedding, but doesn't know how to tell her parents. Everything at Elinor's wedding is fancy and expensive, while at Becky's parents' wedding, it's homey and cheap. Soon Becky comes to her senses and decides that she would rather get married at home, with her parents. But there is an obstacle...can Becky cancel Elinor's wedding?

Summary: Shopaholic gets tied in knots
Review: I picked up this book off the rack at Gatwick and read all the way home to Pa. This was my first encounter with Ms. Becky Bloomwood and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Having recently planned a wedding I could relate to a lot of the things that happened. From trying her mother's wedding dress to trying to decide on one from dozens.
Becky's attempts to avoid problems, with lies, and please everyone especially herself backfire in a big way. She has two weddings planned on the same day on two different continents. How will this all work out?
If you need some light reading and a laugh try Shopaholic Ties the Knot.
Now I'm gooing to go backwords through the series and find out how it all got started.

Summary: Not as good as the others... but still a great read!
Review: Nice way to end the series. Story line not as good as the others, but still a good book. If you read the other two, you owe it to yourself to see how it all ends.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Decent book but not as good as the first two
Review: I would be lying if i said i didn't like this book. I did enjoy it for the most part. I felt the other two books about Becky were much better and easier to read. This one lacked some depth. I was pretty amazed at what Becky did at the ending...now that took some serious guts!

Summary: yay for #3
Review: i think this one is my favorite of the 3

Summary: How could anyone have published this?
Review: It is astonishing and discouraging that this truly terrible book even got published. But, it also seems not to have been edited. (...) The plot is boring and absurd. The main character, however, is detestable. (...)Fortunately, England has also given us Shakespeare, Tennyson, and Swinburne.
