Review: This was only the second book by Francine that I've read and I must say, it's one of the best books I have ever read in my life! God spoke to my heart all through the book and made me realize how passionate His love is for His bride! I could not put this book down. For two days my nose was in this book every chance I got. I could SO identify with Sarah/Angel!!! I could understand why she felt the way she did about herself. Oh, to find a man like Michael in real life! The closest one I know personally is Jesus! Wonderful, WONDERFUL book!!! Now I must get busy reading her other books!

Summary: Wonderful for someone with tainted past!
Review: I've had quite a tainted past, and this book, even though it was fiction, explained my mind-set and the way I think so well. The main character, Angel(aka Sarah) was so much like me. If anyone has a tainted past sexually, but has changed thier ways but yet still struggles with the affects of it, read this. So good so good!

Summary: Heart Wrenching
Review: My sister bought this book for me knowing I do not like to read romance books. I'm more of a history/castles/fantasy book reader. But since she said I had to read it..I did. OH MY GOODNESS!!! I have never read a book and cried. I was right there every step of Angel's way. So hurt for her and so hurt for Michael. I just couldn't put it down. I picked the book up about 1/3 of the way thru at 8:30 and finished at 1:30 the next morning. I still find myself reading the last chapter over and over again. Sure wish a movie would come out portraying this book word for word.

Review: This must be the most INCREDIBLE book I've yet read. It isn't a book for younger readers because of the content, but it is all completely appropriate and, I think, necessary. This book will make your heart swell up with emotion, along with some well deserved tears. If there ever was a love story, this is it. This book made me love the man I ALREADY love even more. And remember that there's One who loves me more than anyone on this earth ever could. Buy this book. Buy LOTS of them and give them out to everyone you know. It just might change a life.

Summary: Book Shopping at the Thrift Store!
Review: While at the Thrift Store doing my book shopping, I saw Redeeming Love. It was the old cover which is not very appealing. For a mere 33 cents how could I say no. It sat for about two months in my pile to read. One day I said it was your turn Francine Rivers. For the next two days aside from working and sleeping I had my book with me. It blew me away. I still think back to the message given in the book and smile. Thank you Francine Rivers. All I can say is WOW!

Summary: Honestly, the best book I have ever read
Review: This book is everything anyone would want out of a novel. Intrigue, suspence, surprize, sensationalism, and a romance that mankes me weep. The book is the story of one man's unconditional love for his wife, but the theme is so much stronger than that. It is a pictue of God's love for his people and his redeemable grace that is empowering to all. To women, this book is an assurance of love in a day and age where we are taught that our sin is to great for anyone to truly love us.
The author writes such an eloquent and moving piece that I cannot help but read it over and over again and give it to every woman I know. Your heart will be blessed for reading it!

Summary: Definitely a Keeper!
Review: I love this book! It's so awesome and so real! I love the fact that Francine Rivers doesn't mind bringing the seldom talked about book of Hosea to life, even with it's somewhat touchy subjects that a lot of other Christian writers don't want to touch. This book really protrays how unconditional love and patience can really change a person, along with God's unfailing love. It really shows that anyone, with God's help, can make a difference, no matter their past.

Summary: TUGS AT THE CHRISTIAN HEART!
Review: "Redeeming Love" is a christian fiction novel written by Francine Rivers. The book tells of a woman who has hardened her heart so much, she thought she could never love a man. Rivers tells this story very well, unfolding the womans life day by day as she finds what has been missing all along.
Rivers begins every chapter of this novel with a Bible verse pertaining to the chapters content. Though rare in Christian writers, Rivers goes into very deep detail on subjects that would make most people blush. I think her reason for being so blunt is to let people know that even the worst sins, form prostitution to murder,can be forgiven. The Bible verses go along so well with the story, I wanted to stop and pray for the main character at the beginning of each chapter.
Rivers does a fantastic job of making her points, as she makes you feel as if you are a part of the plot. Also, using scripture to confirm pieces of the plot definately makes you reexamine your life. It makes you think twice before judging someone you know nothing about or what they may be going thriugh.
I agree with Francine Rivers view on every subject she covers. As her charactes pray all day long as they work,reminds me of myself. I consult God several times a day as I make daily decisions.
I really enjoyed this novel and I recommend it to anyone, whether Christian or non-Christian. Rivers does an excellent job of portraying our Savior's eternal forgiveness and love. A great story proving everyone, no matter how large a sin, can be forgiven and come to know Christ.

Summary: Wonderfully Amazing!!!
Review: I love this book!!! If you want Christian romance as well as a deep spiritual message, this book is for you!! I didn't want it to end!! I fell in love with Michael and Angel. His unconditional love for her and his patience with her is a part of what Christianity is all about. I highly recommend this book. If I could give it a hundred stars, I would!!

Summary: There are not enough stars...
Review: I could go on forever about how much I love this book, but that would take too much room, and all I will say is that, after the Bible, this is the book I would take on a deserted island with me, if I could only bring one. As a single young woman, it taught me a lot about marriage that I really needed to hear. It is the most beautiful, the most heartwrenching, the most profound piece of literature you could ever read. I admire Francine Rivers for not being afraid to delve into messy issues, where many Christians are too prudish to go, even though there are people there who need Christ's love as much as anyone.
The only thing about this book I could complain about is that it has raised my standards of a husband to equal Michael Hosea (what woman has read that book and NOT had that experience?), and I'm not so sure that such a man could actually exist!!!
