Summary: Inspiring
Review: This book was amazing. I read this book and now plan on reading all of Francine Rivers books. It took me 3 days to read almost 600 pages and I was dissappointed it was over.
I laughed, cried, was inspired and was able to see amazing romance. This book showed me that God loves no matter what
he allows to happen in your life and he does take care of
his chosen.

Summary: Never in my life have I been so emotionally drawn to a book
Review: This, by far, was one of the best books I have ever read in my entire life. Never in my life have I been so emotionally drawn to a book, and I normally don't get emotionally involved with anything. Before I read this book, I would pray every night for me to marry a "nice Christian man." Now, after reading this book, I'm praying for a "man exactly like Micheal Hosea (main character)". I bought this book in hopes of me realizing that chivalry is not dead and that God created men to treat women in a special way. This book also emphasized not only the importance of staying abstinant, but it showed the reader how sex before marriage affects the relationship. This book is pretty graphic, so I don't recommend giving this book to really anybody who isn't mature enough to handle it, but the graphicness of the book helps the story--the reader realizes the depth of Angel's trouble and how much God helps her overcome. I was very much interested in the underlying themes of the novel. As you read along, you begin to see the similarities that this novel has with some stories in the Bible. You also begin to see some parallels in the characters to Biblical characters. I'm fifteen years old, and with things like MTV, and The OC, it's very easy to be thrown off your walk with Christ. This book helped me grow in my relationship with Christ in so many unbelievable ways. I am now giving this book to my friends for presents, in hopes that they will realize the importance of godly relationships, and the importance of becoming a Christian.

Summary: Life Changing Book!
Review: I just finished reading Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers and I have been forever changed by this book. Let me first preface this by saying that up until this point, I had not read any of her books . I heard about "Redeeming Love" through a friend's recommendation, and after two months, I finally picked it up at 2am one morning and started reading it. I was completely overtaken by this book and felt like I was living in the mid 1800's, right along with the main characters, Michael and Angel. The character of Michael Hosea, the christian farmer who falls in love with Angel and marries her, is the exact type of man every woman seeks to meet and marry. He loves Angel, at first because he is so struck with her outward beauty, but mostly because he is so overtaken with her inward beauty that he can't get her out of his mind. He knows that God is calling him to marry Angel, although he hesitates knowing Angels profession of prostitution. He eventually follows God's calling and marries her. The relationship between Michael and Angel progresses into such a beautiful, symphonic relationship that I found myself "rooting" for them to make it through their struggles....I cried at Angels' shame....I felt myself wanting to cry out to Michael to run after Angel again, after she left him......I laughed at parts....Gut cried throughout....this book is not just a "good read", it is truly a journey worth taking.

I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who longs to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus....who is struggling with accepting God's forgiveness....who is feeling they don't "count" in God's plans....and to anyone else who just wants to be renewed spiritually in some amazing ways..this book is for ALL of you. This is not just a "chick" book... guys can relate to the material just as well.

Thank you Ms. Rivers for sharing your writing talents. May God continue to bless you and your work.! I also would like to recommend to Ms. Rivers to considering making this into a movie. The visuals and storyline are just too good to not see the Silver Screen. I give this book 10 stars! It's that good!

Summary: Powerful!
Review: Francine Rivers is my hero for American Christian literature! This book reminded me that God has unconditional love and takes us in directions that is best for us (even if we don't believe it at the time)! I recommend this book for men and women, both young and old, so they may experience the feelings that are aroused by this wonderful journey of Angel's. I believe I can relate to every one of the characters and know that there are lessons to be learned by every one of them. Thank you for a wonderful read!

Summary: Enchanting
Review: I've read this book 4 times in the past 6 months and every time it still touches me deeply and sometimes still moves me to tears. I'd recommend this book to anyone, even if they have no interest in religion.
