Review: Never have I read a book that allowed me to feel the love of God so profoundly. It's so easy to lose sight of God's love and focus on our love. For me to know that God seeks me out and desires to love me is more than I can imagine. This book spoke to me of the pursuing love of God. I am better for reading it. Keep up the good work Francine.

Summary: A Wonderful Love Story!
Review: I have been a fan of Francine Rivers's since I read "The Scarlet Thread." I believe this book was actually her first "inspirational" work and yet it avoids the pitfalls of many other inspirational novels. Rivers boldly takes on difficult topics and situations and gives her characters a sense of dignity (in the case of Sarah/Angel, her dignity comes through the course of the novel). Unlike so many other inspirational novels, "Redeeming Love" shows how God's Love can be shown even through the most dark of hours.

Francine Rivers has written some of the best romance novels on the market.
In this work, she has completely transcended the genre to produce one of the best novels on the market.
Angel, the girl sold into prostitution as a child, is portrayed with a sensitivity, realism, and depth that is rarely found anywhere.
Her struggles to escape her haunted past are both wrenching and uplifting, and the flow of events has a sense of inevitability.
The supporting cast contains a host of likeable, interesting, believable characters, and the writing style is highly polished.
This is a book for anyone who likes romances or stories about the search for faith or stories about the strength of the human spirit.
I have lost count of the number of times that I have picked up this book to reread a favorite passage, and it has never yet failed to move me.

Summary: Inspiring!
Review: A friend recommended this book to me and I just finally got around to buying it. I got it at around 5 p.m. and didnt put it down until I finished at 5 a.m. It is the most powerful book I have read and the most inspiring. It has an amazing love story, but its about so much more than that. It's about God's love and how he wants us to love. It answered many questions I have had. This book will leave you crying more that one time. It will touch you in a way most books cant. I cant say enough good things about it. I recommend this to any christian, anyone with questions, anyone who wants inspiration.

Summary: Redeeming Love is incredible--what every girl longs for!
Review: I just finished Redeeming love for the third time. I seem to pick it up when as the first page says...I hurt or hunger. What an incredible parallel to God's redeeming love for us...always pursuing us with an everlasting and all consuming passion. All I can say is I am waiting for someone like Michael Hosea..someone who intently listens and obeys Gods voice, who encourages me, who forgives me and who understands that my past scars and heartbreaks are not too great to keep us apart!

Summary: 1850s version of the Hosea story
Review: the subject matter could be considered questionable by some, but i highly enjoyed the book. it is also loosely based on the biblical prophet Hosea, who had a former prostitute as a wife and who kept running away. it is set in more modern times, back in the 1850s in the Old West.
throughout the book, your heart just goes out to her. however, it did get repetitive as she kept leaving and fighting love, but i suppose it makes it more realistic that way since that is how people can generally be.
a good read i highly recommend to anyone who wants to see more about the old west and a different description about the prophet Hosea.

Summary: The power of love and forgiveness!!!!!!!!
Review: I will admit that the last time I picked up a book to read was in middle school and I am 26 years old now. My friend at work told me about this incredible book named "Redeeming Love" and that she had a copy of the book if I would like to read it. I said "sure, it sounds like a good story." She gave me her copy to read and let me tell you that I was half way done with the book in less than 8 hours. I just finished reading it this morning and it is the BEST book that I have ever read and it has propelled me to read more novels relating to christian love. My heart would literally skip beats during the reading of Angel and Micheal's love story. Angel and Micheal's love for each other and Angel's forgiveness and reconnection with God inspired my life!!! I only wish that Francine Rivers would consider turning this novel into a motion picture because I gaurantee that it would win best dramatic picuture for the oscars!!!!! I highly recommend reading this book. It will truly touch your soul!!!!!!!!!

Review: Ms. Rivers has captured the attention of male readers with this book! My wife couldn't put the book down each night before bed, so I decided to read it at the gym. I couldn't stop reading! You will actually feel like you are there with the characters in the story. This is by far the best christian book I have EVER read.
